Miley Cyrus told reporters that her bejeweled fish scale tiered princess gown - designed by Zuhair Murad - was inspired by "The Little Mermaid."
Makes sense. Cause it really does look like something from the Disney Collection.
Apparently, she was worried about dressing too old. No need for concern Miley. This looks like something for a birthday party, not the Oscars.

Miley's Gown was Absolutely perfect for a 16 year old attending the Oscars. It exactly what I would like to see my 16 year old wearing if she were attending the Oscars.
You know, it may be a bit much, but she is, still, a kid. She looks glamorous enough for the night (and I'm not even a Miley fan). Sarah Jessica Parker's dress is way too much - ack.
