Lindsay Lohan to Delta Airlines: I don't do economy.
Lindsay Lohan doesn't want to fly -- or die -- in economy class.
The actress made a big stink about her seat on a Delta flight leaving from Tampa, Fla., Saturday morning.
Seems the airline was unable to find her a first-class seat on the overbooked flight.
An insider tells Pop Tarts that passengers were very amused by Lindsay's expert self-entitlement act, storming around and telling her traveling buddy (not Samantha Ronson), "You'd better come and visit me back there in case I die."
But fortunately, poor LiLo didn't have to lower her standards to sitting in the dreaded economy section with all the poor people.
Eventually she was moved into the luxurious first-class cabin following her hissy fit.
Just like when Paris Hilton cried and it got her out of jail, Lindsay has learned that having a big baby tantrum works.

I was the flight attendant on this flight saturday morning and this is a total lie. Lindsay in FACT did sit in coach the entire time and allowed Samantha to sit in the front....Lindsay was extremely nice and said that she had tickets on United, but didnt want to make a stopover in Denver so that is why she ended up at the last minute on Delta...she knew that she was going to sit in coach and was totally fine with it!!
I can understand why she wouldn't want to sit in the economy section, she'd be mobbed ! She just needs to learn to be discreet about her complaints. She's young, she'll learn.
It's a shame because she missed a great opportunity -- if she sat with the regular folks in economy and was gracious, I bet she would have gotten a lot of positive (free and badly needed) P.R.

o.k. well "ROSS" the intern was on this flight and WAS sitting up in first class...I am not going to sit and try and prove that I was on this plane...believe what you want to believe...I just want to defend Delta Air Lines

I was in with the luggage during the flight and I can attest Lindsay was in there with me. She was very gracious and never once asked to get out of her cage.
