Did Joaquin Phoenix get bitten by the rap music bug during his final film,"Two Lovers?"
It's quite possible, given this strangely embarrassing freestyle rap performance in the film, also starring Gwyneth Paltrow and Vinessa Shaw.
Check it out and decide.
Too bad Joaquin didn't decide to try a career in country music.
Frankly, he would have been great at that, given his astonishing performance as Johnny Cash in "Walk the Line."
Note to Joaquin: Just because those two actresses seem to be enjoying your freestyle in that scene doesn't mean that it's any good.
Remember, they're ACTING!

Most rappers or actors do not write the content that they deliver. I give props to him for going after his dream. With the proper guidance he may make some noise in the music biz. Joaquin already has the name recognition that all up coming artists need to become a force in the music industry.
Is Joaquin really quiting acting?
