Did Leonardo DiCaprio get Bar Refaeli the SI Swimsuit Edition cover?

And that would be stunning Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, who has been dating actor Leonardi DiCaprio since he finally wrapped it up with stunning Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
So, Bar got Gisele's romantic leftovers. And now Bar has landed Giselle's old spot on the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Edition
Rumor at Radaronline is that Refaeli's boyfriend had something to do with her getting the sought-after cover.
The claim is that DiCaprio wanted to annoy his former girlfriend Gisele.
I doubt that very much. That's just not something Leo has time for.
However, I'm sure that the SI editors thought it might be a very nice way to sell magazines, by having the media write about the fact that Leo is "dating" their new cover model.
Now the inevitable question: Who do you think is hotter? Bar or Giselle?

Don't people notice how anyone that dates Leonardo DiCaprio all of a sudden become hot commodities? Both Giselle and Bar's careers rocketed once they dated Leonardo. So basically for any gold digger out there looking to boost her career based on someone else's merit or status, just date Leonardo. This world's sense of morality is deplorable and disgusting, I feel for pp like Leonardo.
Of course she got the cover b/c of Leo. She is hot. However, she is not the best-looking model that SI has.
I don't think Leo made any calls. I just think it was a strategic move by SI. Get people talking about the cover. Unfortunately, the magazine is not really going to sell.
Bar is much hotter and she is on the cover because she deserve it!!!
It's obvious that she got the cover because of Leonardo DiCaprio. Did anyone know who she was before she started dating him? No. Would we know who she was if she had never dated him? Probably not.
That being said, if S.I. has to put her on their cover because they think it's a "strategic move", they could have chosen a more flattering shot.
Maybe it's just because I'm a girl. But she looks too orange, rather than tan, even though there obviously was a fair amount of airbrushing done. The bathing suit is not particularly flattering or eye-catching; it even looks like it's too tight, so she looks bigger, especially her thighs and hips. This brilliant idea of giving Rafeali the cover because she's linked to DiCaprio may just backfire on S.I.
kwesi . I get five fashion mags a month. I knew Gisele from covers of vogue ,W, Elle etc. BEFORE she was with Dicaprio. She rocketed to to the top of Modeling in 1999. She was all over mags , tv, runways all over the world. She culminated that in winning VH1/vogue Model of the year in 1999. She started dating Leo in 2000. Since she dumped Leo in 2005 she has remained the top paid model in the world ON HER OWN MERIT. So no the planet does not revolve around your leo.

Um Gisele was the hottest model in the world in 1999; Endless fashion covers, runways, ads and model of the year. Sorry but she was not with Leo at that time. Btw she's still the best and highest paid model in the world.
I think this girl is just using Leo to further her "career" if you can call being paid to be barely in a bikini that is clearly too small for her. She is as fake as her boobs and I don't care if SI puts trash on their cover or not. We haven't seen her with Leo since Presidential swearing in on 1/20 so I am hoping he finally split with her for good now that she got her "Moneymaker" out there for the world to see. Seriously, why bother with the bottom,Bar? I am waiting for Hugh Hefner to announce he is paying her to lose the bikini because girlfreind does like to flaunt it to the highest bidder so I am sure he will pay her enough to be on the cover of his porn mag. She would probably love that!
this girl is big/would even be fat if whe gains five pounds....she better watch it.....giselle is by far....way better looking and by far a better model....leo will not be dating this girl for long.....and this girl will not be in the industry for long at all...i mean giselle is much older and is in great shape....this girl is still really young and is not....when she reaches giselles age....she will have a weight problem for sure. xoxox
