'Heroes' hotties Milo Ventimiglia, Hayden Panettiere fizzle out
Hayden Panettiere finally noticed that Milo Ventimiglia is like, really, really old (for her).
The "Heroes" costars -- who started dating secretly in 2008 -- have officially called it quits, according to Us Weekly.
The mag cites a source who calls the break-up a "lifestyle conflict. They were in very different places."
Yeah, she's in that hot 19-year-old girl place, and he's in the serious 31-year-old guy place.
That's 12 whole years of way different.
Adds the insider, "There are no hard feelings."
Really, bummer. 'Cause that would have made watching "Heroes" way more interesting if it had ended all ugly.
The source tells Us that Hayden likes to "go out in the Hollywood scene" and that's not Milo's "style."
Yeah, and again, there's that whole "He was born 12 years before her" thing.
And here's proof: Milo Ventimiglia steps into the Celebrity Time Machine!
What do you think? Can a girl, 19, have a serious relationship with a man, 31? For long?

i don't know why people freak out because of the age difference, don't Angelina Joli and Brad Pitt have a 12 year old difference?
First: Sometimes age makes a difference, and other times it doesn't. What really matters is the maturity level of the people involved. I've known people who have happy, healthy relationships in similar situations--the difference being that both people are in the same place in their life. Sometimes the younger person is exceptionally mature, although frequently it's the older person who's less mature. In any case, it's very case-by-case.
Second: It sounds like, from the wording in your article, you have a personal bias against this type of age difference in relationships. That's fine, but I don't understand the need to impose your personal view in such a snide, condescending manner into the news flash.
Third: I'm afraid I won't be subscribing to your blog anymore. I've enjoyed reading your posts in the past, but over the past six month or so I've definitely noticed a dramatic change in tone in your writing: it's bitchy. It wasn't always so. You used to be funny, witty, sarcastic (at times), but always entertaining. Now, it seems like almost every post is riddled with negativity and ill-wishing. "Really, bummer..." I for one think it's nice that two people ended a relationship, were able to decide that they were in different places, and NOT have a feud over it. ESPECIALLY with her being so young. I wish your column would revert to a lighter, funnier tone.
milo is cool oh yeah!!!!
12 years is a lot! I mean, it can be unnoticed for a while, but it resurfaces sooner or later. I was bothered that they got together, since it seemed weird, but I got used to it, and now...I'm okay that they didn't get married or whatever.
12 yrs! Thanks to their breakup, there are lot of eligible young guys that will come rushing if hayden snaps her fingers. She should move on with her life and milo should try settling down.

My parents are 12 years apart (they got married when mom was 19 and dad was 31 actually) and they've been together 34 years. Still going strong. The bias in this article is horrendous. Obviously age effects each couple differently in terms of maturity level and interests. Don't be so quick to judge ALL couples with a larger-than-typical age difference.
I am a "19 year old hot girl" doing the "19 year old hot girl thing" and my boyfriend is 31, 32 in November and we've been together for nearly 2 years. He's amazing and I wouldnt change anything for the world. So even if i'm doing my own thing he's happy and i'm happy.
