Christian Bale goes berserk on 'Terminator: Salvation' set!
TMZ has posted audio tape of Christian Bale screaming, swearing and hitting the roof on the set of "Terminator: Salvation."
It happened after director of photography Shane Hurlbut apparently walked through the set of "Terminator: Salvation," distracting the actor in the middle of a big scene.
Christian Bale went off on the DP, calling him every name in the book, trying to get him fired, etc., etc.
It's pretty brutal.
And it goes on and on and on.

I think it's safe to say Shane Hurlbut ("Swing Vote," "Semi-Pro," "The Reckoning," "Crazy/Beautiful") won't be working with Christian Bale again any time soon.
From the sound of that rant, Bale can get ugly. It's one thing to get angry, but leave the guy a pair, Christian.

This is one of the most disturbing things I've heard in a long time. It reminds me of those 911 tapes of OJ screaming at Nicole.
Bale has an anger problem and needs to get control of it immediately. He needs therapy
So what, he is an actor, and I would rather have a good movie with a jerky actor that I am never going to meet then a nice guy who makes me waste my money on a terrible movie. I think it is cool that he takes his job serious and proves why he is so good. Unless your hanging out with him, then who cares. Miles Davis was prick but I am not going to stop listening because of it.
I found that mildly entertaining.
dude seriously that guy is intense. i dont' know what was going on with him that day but i would like to believe he doesn't go all ballistic for no apparent reason. i might be weird but i found the entire clip utterly hilarious, i have always heard the guy takes his work pretty seriously i never thought it would be THAT serious. wonder what the joker would have to say about that!!! i have to commend him on his dedication though, throughout the entire rant not once did the guy lose the american accent. that guy has awsum self-control when it comes to his acting coz normally a bit of his english tongue should have crept in at some point. he should use a bit of that self-control in acting to control his temper.
Sooo, now I hate Christian Bale. Who cares what the guy did to **** him off, no one deserves to be treated like that.
I don't see what the fuss is. If anything, it proves he's really into the movie being good. And getting angry is part of the human condition, so really, who cares. We all have our outbursts at least once in our lives.
Ya, know despite the fact that Bale tore the guy a new one, wouldn't you be pretty angry if your DP kept walking through your set during a scene? Bale is right, it is extremely unprofessional. I would have gone off on the guy as well.
His mother and sister were right to call the cops last summer!! A damaged guy. The Director is also at fault for allowing this on set. But he's probably scared of Christian, too.
People, we all lose it once it awhile. As an actor I know how it feels like to be on the set for 16 hours and once you pour your heart out only to have someone walk in the set during a take, that is completely unprofessional, especially for a DP. Sure the DP might not have known but it seems like from the tape that he did it before. Both sides to every situation.
