Chris Brown's Facebook status is now 'single'
Chris Brown may have made his first statement following his alleged beating of superstar girlfriend Rihanna.
According to the New York Post, he's posted an update on his private (Christopher Maurice Brown) Facebook page: "You'll begin to see her true colors. Believe it!"
Is he implying that Rihanna is partly to blame for the alleged attack that resulted in her bruises, scratches and bite marks?
And good news for die-hard Chris Brown fans: He may have confirmed a split by changing his Facebook relationship status to "single."
And he may be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, according to E!.
"We cannot confirm that Chris is staying with us," a Hard Rock spokesman tells E! News. "However, several of his friends are staying on [the] property."
The real reason for the non-confirm? Could it be that Brown is under 21 and couldn't check himself in or get a room in his own name?
Instead, it's possible he arrived with his posse and they reserved a suite for him.
Call me crazy but Sin City -- full of temptation -- is not the place you want to be if you are Chris Brown right about now.
Because, in his case, you know that what happens in Vegas is definitely not staying there.

If this is based on the static screenshot posted on MediaTakeout, how can you be so sure that he only recently changed his relationship status to "single"? I read the original blog post on MTO and that screenshot doesn't log him changing it and you cannot tell by the screenshot. He and Rihanna have been claiming to be "just friends" all this time - it is feasible to assume that he's been presenting himself to the public as a single man prior to this incident.
In any case, something's seriously wrong with him.

I think that is rather sad, that this had to happen to the both of them. However, we really do not know what happened between the two of them. Remember the saying, "it is two sides to a story", then theres the truth. If you are true fan of the both of them, wait for the verdict. I will send my prayers out to the both of them and their families, doing this difficult time. No one knows what it is like until you have truly been there. Be Blessed, to both Chris and Rhianna.
It's being said now that this is not his first time. He's a repeat offender and has a problem that's gone out of control.
He needs to plead guilty and go into a program for habitual batterers. If he tries to handle this problem with denial, by surrounding himself with enablers, then he's only going to get worse, and his career will be gone and so will his posse once the money runs out.
He needs to get over his denial, ignore his enablers, plead guilty, go into a domestic violence program, and maybe after a while if he proves he's really changed, America might accept him again.
America has had enough of domestic violence. He has a problem, he needs to deal with it, or no more career.
