Chris Brown 'remorseful' over 'stumble,' dad says
Chris Brown's dad, Clinton Brown, tells People that his son is "very remorseful" about "this stumble."
Speaking outside his home in Tappahannock, Va., his biological father said Chris is "very concerned about the situation and he wants to make sure that (Rihanna's) okay."
"This is unfortunate, this stumble, this situation," Clinton Brown continues. "Hopefully, he will get past it. We all have our shortcomings. We all trip."
Brown adds that there are "two sides to every story," saying, "Just because someone trips, if you are truly a fan, you are not going to demonize him instantaneously."
His dad is also very concerned about the public backlash following the allegations of assault.
"This music industry is very unforgiving when it comes to having indiscretions," Brown says.
OK, but isn't it a little early to be asking for forgiveness when Chris hasn't apologized or made any public statement?
Indiscretions? Trips? Shortcomings? Stumble? Two sides to every story? Demonize him? Are these poor choices of words?
Kinda makes alleged abuse sound like an innocent "oops," doesn't it? Like forgetting to do your homework or skipping class and getting caught. Those are trips and stumbles.
Abuse that forces cops to take your girlfriend to a hospital? Not so much.
What do you think? And we have to wonder what Jay-Z thinks of those words applied to Brown's alleged assault of his protege, Rihanna.

ok first of all we dont know what happen u right but we do know he put his hands on a Woman!! That u dont do,no matter what i dont care. If she hit u ,u WALK away or call the cops if she doesnt stop. But how it sound like Chis Brown wiped her ***. Everybody mess up that is one mistake but she need to leave him Alone.Foreal
yo that was un called for he should not be able to sing again lol ya i used to love him now ya yeee i dont know
Hey!!! Wats up
i personally have always loved chris brown and i still do. Theres two sides to every story, No human being is going to just attack you for no reason. She HAD to do something to trigger such a reaction. And if she says this isnt the first time he has hit her why was she still with him? Dosent that make her just as bad as he is? Isnt she just as much to blame? No one is ever 100 % wrong. I stand behind chris brown 100 % of the way
Jay-Z needs to mind his own business. If he thinks Rihanna is part of his "Crew" - then he's smoking something his self. This is NOT Jay-Z's biz. I'm just keepin it real.
Two sides to every story my ***. If he hit his woman, he's wrong. Period.
What the hell is wrong with some of you chicks trying to soften what this fool has done?
This wasn't a "Stumble" this was a violent act against a woman...that he was supposed to care for.
yall chris brown lover are crazy he hit the gril no dude who calls himself a amn should hit a girl he is a punk who would get his *** beat if he fought a man
Rihanna doesn't come across as a very nice person and not that she should get hit or anything, but why did Chris hit her? Some girls push and push until it happens. Chris is much too good to be dating her anyway and needs to find someone better for himself. Then it probably never would've happened in the 1st place.
OK ENOUGH OF THE HYPOCRISY! First of all, we still don't know FOR SURE the details of what happened. The writer of this article is VERY biased, and this has all gotten so old at this point. This is a statement that Chris' father made, not Chris. Let Chris at least tell his side before stones are cast. It's apparent he has done something wrong here, but who's to say that Rihanna didn't do wrong here either? I think everyone just needs to keep the negativity to themselves until they know what has really went on here. And even so, who are we to dabble in these people's relationship and what went on? So many people get physical in their relationship, and no it's not OK, but it's more common than people think. The only reason why such a huge deal is being made here is because these people are celebrities, and it's ridiculous.
