Oh NO! Chris Brown just lost his 'Got Milk?' money!

Chrisbrownmilkb Remember Chris Brown's lucrative "Got Milk?" ad campaign? It launched in fall 2008.

And now, as a result of allegations that he assaulted  his singer sweetie, Rihanna, it's over.

A company rep told Usmagazine.com that Brown's "Got Milk?" promotion will cease this week.

"The Milk Mustache campaign is taking the allegations against Chris Brown very seriously," a company rep tells Usmagazine.com. "We are very proud and protective of the image of the Milk Mustache campaign and the responsible message it sends to teens. Mr. Brown's ad was launched last fall and is scheduled to end this week."

Guess they won't be calling up Michael Phelps anytime soon, huh?

Man, it's really hard to be a spokesman these days. Who could live up to these standards?

iM So Hurt He LosiNg HiS Whole LyFe...

"who could live up to these standards"? Are you kidding me? Do you actually think that being a violent abuser is normal? And do you mean to compare Phelps' bad choice with Brown's? Last I heard, Phelps didn't beat up on someone and put them in the hospital. But maybe I take violence too seriously for you.

Elizabeth, you have to stop comparing hitting a bong with hitting a woman. My mother was a battered woman and right now I think you are absolute pond scum. Shame on you for taking domestic violence so lightly. You are pond scum, Elizabeth. Sickening.

This is outrageous. The tone of this article implies the author thinks it's too much to ask of a man to refrain from assaulting women. Michael Phelps did not hurt anyone. To treat Brown's violence so flippantly is a slap in the face to women everywhere. Not just a slap in the face--real damage is done to the effort to prevent abuse.

Ironically enough....he's wearing a wife beater....regardless, whoever the author of this column is, very poor choice of words and even poorer composition. My guess is if she wasn't tall, blonde, and pretty, she would not be writting columns at all.

wow - this is the l.a. times? the editor responsible for this website really needs to rethink it. it's snarky and low - class which is exhibited by this column. lots of people smoke weed - including our last three presidents. in california, it's a misdemeanor. what chris did, though human, is totally unacceptable - who would want their product associated with beating a woman especially as badly as she was rumored to be beaten. this doesn't sound like a slap and a walk away so don't trivialize it. you really should be ashamed of yourself for writing what you did. who thinks like that?

How about - if you're being paid millions of dollars to promote a product -choices you made - don't break the law and use some common sense. It's hard to have sympathy for people who don't use their brains in these difficult times.

I've dated women and been married for 24+ years and I've never lifted a hand to any woman. Anyone that can't express themselves to their woman without resorting to striking her is a moron or just plain stupid. Perhaps CB needs to expand his education so he has other ways to express himself other then hitting women.

I would have to conquer that this is not a well written article. Furthermore, the assumption is made that what Chris Brown did, was nornal behavior and there is nothing normal about stricking your partner PERIOD. Also, Mr. Phelps was caught doing something completely diferent infact his name shouldn't even have came up in this article. Apparently the people that have hung out with Michael are not his friends the photo was taken from the side and then probably sold for a ridiculous amount of money! Chris Brown is a scumbag and maybe he should be rolling with his ex and other chicken heads of the like. Rhianna is too much woman for him to handle!

The "Who can live up to these standards." line is a joke jewel. wow some1 isnt good with humor. It just kinda reminds u of Ike Turner. He just lost millions for losing his temper. Tisk Tisk Mr. Brown
