Carrie Underwood may wear her 'fat dress' to the Grammys!

Carrie Underwood talked to The Dish Rag at Clive Davis' party last night about her short and sassy frock, whether or not she'll wear her "fat dress" to the Grammy Awards and why performing at the Grammys is so gosh darn intimidating.

What are you wearing and why how did you love this dress?

CU: This is Pamela Rolland. Tonight is a fun night. It's a party night. I feel kind of covered up but it's also a little short and fun and sassy -– I like it.

What about tomorrow –- what are you going to wear?

CU: I honestly don't know. I have a couple of different choices. It just depends on how I'm feeling. There is always a fat dress in waiting just in case I'm not feeling as good as I want to. There's always option A and option B. I'll just see which one I want to go with on the day.

What  are you performing tomorrow?

CU: I'm performing "Last Name," which is the song I'm nominated for. It's gonna be pretty rockin'. We are bringing in an extra band and it's gonna be pretty fun.

Is performing at the Grammys the most nerve-racking?

CU: Yes, probably because there are so many random people in the audience. There is everybody that you can think of that is hot now and there are legends in the music community. It's just  pretty intimidating to look out there in the audience and see all those faces of people that you have listened to your whole life  and people that are mega-superstars. But it's a good nervous!

What do you think of the extra judge on "American idol?"

DU: I think it's good! I really like the extra judge Kara DioGuardi. I like the dynamic that she's brought to the table –- of course it's not going to be as good as Season 4! But we'll see!
