Dirty Laundry: Sean Penn parties with Lindsay Lohan, Ryan O'Neal pleads guilty to possession!

The New York Post is reporting that Lindsay Lohan has been hanging out in L.A. with Sean Penn?
Oh, I'll bet Sam Ronson is totally ticked off. Penn is so much more butch than she ever will be. Read about Sam and Lilo's mid-air collision!
Wait. We can understand why Lindsay would want to hang out with the acclaimed directo-actor. But why would Penn, a notorious paparazzi–hater, want to sic the cameras on himself by going to clubs and out to dinner with Ms. Pap Magnet?
The Post says it's not the first time, and that the two started hanging out in New York last fall.
Who's next for Sean, Britney Spears?
What happens to Penn during awards season? Last year, he was spotted with model Petra Nemcova at Elton John's Oscar party. Does Sean just lose his mind and go ga-ga for young girls whenever awards are being handed out?

Ryan O'Neal pled guilty to one count of felony possession of methamphetamine today in Malibu.
The actor was sentenced to 18 months in a drug rehab. If he completes the program, the charge will be wiped off his record. O'Neal is not allowed to possess any controlled substance and can't associate with anyone known to be a drug user. Oh, except for his son, Redmond, who was also in court today, facing the same charge. Click here to see the video.
Redmond had his case continued until Feb. 20.

Tatum O'Neal, her brother Redmond and their dad have all had issues with drugs. Can't they just share a normal family pastime like playing Scrabble or Monopoly or something?

Speculation on my part, not being part of the Hwd crowd....Lindsay needs an acting job and he's the only one who will talk to her....and, he needs publicity badly. Sean Penn is NOT media friendly, so it's awards time, the movie is doing OK, and he wants to win the Oscar again....
Frankly, I'm not a big fan of Penn, I liked his past earlier work, (like Carlito's Way and Dead Man Walking; didn't like Mystic River) but something about the guy impresses me as being a little loopy.
