Does Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin think she can get $11 million for her book?
Well nobody can fault a gal for dreaming, right? However, a dream is all that the steep price tag seems to be, according to the Los Angeles Times.
After all, Laura Bush got $2 mill for her book and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton's book got an $8-mill advance.
Palin has reportedly snagged the same lawyer, Robert Barnett -- who represented Barack Obama and both the Clintons for their book deals, says the Los Angeles Times, sourcing the Hollywood Reporter.
There may also be a TV deal in the works. Maybe a sitcom? We could totally see that. Heck, the Palins could make the Bundys seem downright classy.
But you'll love this. At her State of the State address Thursday night in Juneau, Sarah congratulated President Obama, adding that he is in her prayers.
She added that if he governs with the skill, grace and greatness of which he is capable, "Alaska's going to be just fine."
Alaska? What about the whole country?

Just because a bozo like you doesn't like her, there are millions who do, something like close to 60 million who voted for her as VP. Moron.
Yes - I would be dlighted to ready her book - as would most inteligent people not living in Los Angeles. Why does Sarah so threaten you people. Just because she is smart, has accomplished much in her still young life.....and can't deny that she is attractive - sounds like jealousy and sour grapes from all of you still bashing her relientlessly. Can't wait to read her new book - and admit it you cant' wait either. $11 mill would be a real coup - hope she gets it.

I want to hear her side of the story! not just the media smears
As an Alaskan, I know she is selling out herself and her family, but claiming "don't pick on me or my kids" -- yet she puts it all out there. She talks in sound clilps and obviously has fooled people who don't know her. Try living with a narcissistic person who hides under the cloak of Christian values -- but does not practice what she preaches with people of color.

Ya know I voted for Obama on policy, but just because I voted for him doesn't mean that I buy into the nonsense that Palin is stupid. As a woman I find it extremely offensive that she keeps getting treated this way by the media. Perhaps because of people like you, next time she runs I will not only buy her book, but vote for her.
BTW you might want to take into account she was giving a State Of the State address, not a State of the Union address. Just because someone isn't from a big city with an ivy league education doesn't mean we are all ignorant.
no , i would never buy it.. it was hard enough to read her babbling interviews that led to absolutely no point! she is not at the same level of either bush or clinton.. what she needs is a reality check!
