Brad Pitt's bloody 'Inglourious Basterds' a summer action movie

425pittbradlc101708 Get ready for the "Inglourious Basterds."

According to E!, Quentin Tarantino's controversial World War II-era epic  will be released by the Weinstein Co. on Aug. 21.

Tarantino's first solo directorial effort in more than four years started production in Germany in October.

And it's the reason for that period pencil-thin 'stache Brad Pitt has been sporting and probably will continue to wear throughout the awards season.

In addition to Pitt, Diane Kruger, B.J. Novak and Mike Myers, the film also stars Cloris Leachman, and it's the story of a band of Jewish American soldiers who hunt down and gorily slaughter their German counterparts in France.

Wow. Good times. This sounds like even more fun than Tom Cruise's Nazis hunting other Nazis thriller, "Valkyrie."

We can hardly wait. Pass the popcorn!

Will you go see this movie? For Tarantino? For Pitt? Or for Cloris Leachman? Will she do a Frau Blucher?

brat pitt could --- could pass as a character actor -- maybe --- tom cruise on the other hand could never make the grade. tom cruise playing a german officer using a plain bland flat american accent in valkyrie --- it was so distracting that it ruined what could have been a great film

Tarantino is back! But this time he's got some big names on board; so much for reviving careers. No matter, this will probably be QT's biggest film since Pulp. I'd go watch anything QT made, because I know it will be badazz, but it's nice to see Pitt going back to his avant-garde roots instead of those tedious big-budget films of late.

People usually say :"Seeing is believing." Each attempt has a corresponding gain, in part or obvious, or vague. At least we have the kind of

satisfaction After I bought this watch ,in a sense,it means a great deal to me.
