Tom Brady pops the question, Gisele Bundchen says 'Sim'

Giselebun_jamie_15621648_600 Tom Brady proposed to Gisele Bundchen on a private jet on Christmas Eve.

She said yes. Or sim. (As some astute readers have pointed out in comments, "sim" is actually Brazilian/Portuguese for yes, not "si.")

Gisele to marry Tom? Last chance, Leo! Oops. She said yes.

According to TMZ, Brady, who is "famous for running errands for Gisele," proposed on a private jet that took off from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport and landed in Boston.

There were four dozen white roses and some bubbly on board.

Gisele's P's were also along for the engagement ride. Well, that kinda spoils the fun, doesn't it?

Brady was reportedly nervous.

Wouldn't you be? Not only are her parents there, but Gisele looks like the kind of hot-tempered Latin girl who would toss a dude out the emergency hatch in midflight if the engagement ring weren't to her liking.

Giesele is not very pretty. Brady should marry the mother of his son. Come to think of it, Brade and gisele are both creepy!

If she didn't speak fluent English, I belive she would've said "Sim", which is Portuguese for yes. "Sí" is Spanish for yes. Google, darling! Google.

Gisele would say 'sim,' because she is from Brazil.

Ela é linda ..ele é lindo..

I hope they get together forever..sorry honey but life is not fair.. if he is not if the mother of his son must have some reason.. "sim" means yes in our portuguese(BR).. she was just trying "se mostrar" HUhUhauha....

Yes, Alice, men should always marry the woman you think is MOST physically attractive.

"Yes", certainly, in Portuguese is "Sim"! Also, the name "Gisele" in Lusophone (Portuguese-speaking) countries would probably be spelled with one "L" not a double "L". You are mixing your spelling in your text. Who proofreads these things?!

who cares?

Is all this negative vibes related to the fact that she is from South America and not North America .! I suspect that it is a bit of both the usual Norte Americano/Americana ethnocentrism and xenophobia. She is not my body type. I am a Latino and find women with curves attractive. She is too skinny. Yes; I am also bias. However; if he finds her both physically and personally attractive; God bless them both.

"the kind of hot-tempered Latin girl." Nice stereortype. Would you like it if I said you sound like a snobby liberal who likes her men large, if you know what I mean.

Seriously, Snead? Your comment about Gisele being a "hot-tempered Latin girl" is a negative stereotype that borders on being racist.

I hope you remove it and apologize to your readers for making such an offensive generalization. I'd like to think you are above saying such a thing.
