Was Scott Ruffalo really playing Russian roulette?

Shaha Mishaal Adham, the lead suspect in the possible murder of actor Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott Ruffalo, says it was all just a game.

A deadly game of Russian roulette.

Has this young woman, daughter of a wealthy Saudi businessman (turns out she's not a princess, at least not in the real sense of the word) been watching too many James Bond movies?

Who on earth plays Russian roulette?

Scottruff_jve_434180_600 Her lawyer, Ronald Richards, told the Daily News, "We expect the coroner's report to show the shooting was a result of the victim's chronic playing of Russian roulette and his dangerous playing with firearms while under the use of controlled substances."

"My client was a good friend of the victim and is very sad for the loss of his family. However, she played no role whatsoever in his accidental death," Richards added.

Scott died late Monday after he was taken off life support, one week after he was found with a gunshot wound to the head in his Beverly Hills condo.

"I can confirm that my client was present when Mr. Ruffalo shot himself," Richards said. "She was picking up some keys." Cops saw her on the surveillance video at Ruffalo's condo, along with Brian Scofield, another person of interest.

He claims the gun belonged to Ruffalo and that Ruffalo was a known cocaine user who had used drugs and played with guns in the past in front of numerous witnesses.

Adham is the daughter of Saudi businessman Mishaal K. Adham.

I know some of you out there knew Scott, some very well. Does this jibe with what you know about him? Was he a big Russian roulette fan?  Is it possible that he was playing this gun game?

No way would Scott play Russian roulette. He had too much to live for. Everyone loved the guy, he was a great cutter, very popular and the coolest, most understanding shoulder to cry on. I am so sad and heartbroken.

Scott was my hair dresser and I knew him very well. He was always so positive and fun to be around, and had a special way of making you feel like a rockstar in his chair. I loved Scott and it kills me I didn't see him more recently.. Everyone adored this guy.. Honestly, of he was doing drugs and playing Russian roulette that wonderful "friend" of his, shaha, should have stopped him. I can never go back to giuseppe again, this truly broke my heart.

Don't most people usually place the gun up to their temples, and not the back of their heads, when they play Russian roulette?

[I mean, at least that's how it's usually done in the movies].

Seems it would be a little awkward to put it behind your head and shoot.

But then again, I know nothing about guns, so....

i went to high school with all the ruffalos in va beach a LONG time ago. they were big partiers then but this is very tragic.

Jeez, the guy is far old enough to know you don't play with "real guns." It's a sad end, and perhaps other will learn a lesson about guns. People supposedly control guns, but the few not doing so, generally end up dead. Very sad about Scott Ruffalo, and hopefully, others will learn a lesson from it.

I dated Scott when he lived in Kenosha. He was an awesome guy who loved life. I couldn't see him doing something like this himself. Isn't it a little awkward trying to shoot yourself in the back of the head? This girl will have to live with the guilt for a very long time. I say ship her back to Saudi Arabia and let her pay for her crime. Don't they still have capital punishment in Saudi Arabia? And Why do so many people who come to our country for freedom and the American dream succumb to violence? We will miss Scott. I think of him often.

So she says he shot himself and that's it? What about this other mystery person that was at his house? Is anyone looking for them? When did this other person flee the scene, and why weren't they on the surveillance camera? C'mon BHPD get on it!

Scotty you will be sorely missed!

I worked with Scott for a little while at the Salon and he was sooo sweet and kind and I absolutely loved him! But, he did talk A LOT about guns and knifes and there were lots of times we would talk about how we were worried for his health. So, I was not really too surprised to hear about this. Whatever the case, he should be remembered for his personality and awesome attitude, he really was a good guy even though I did not know him for very long.

I went to high school with the Ruffalo kids too and I think there is something very wrong with this story. Yeah teenagers like to have a good time but that doesn't mean Russian Roulette and I don't believe the story for one minute. If this woman was his friend why did she leave him there to die and then wait a week to turn herself in? I don't believe this woman at all and I think the police need to do more work on this case. I think of Scott everyday and Scott's friends would never leave him to die, NEVER! I love you Scott and I will never forget you ever and I do believe that something is wrong with the story here.

I was in the US Army age 36,I am sorry I find this too questionable...It was mentioned he pulled the trigger behind his head, all weapons have kick back..And that game the witness claimed Scott was doing is a bit strange...She comes from big money and I quess money can buy all.....My prayers are with the family and I pray they press for the truth because we only heard one side.....This young lady turned herself in after she retained a lawyer that is questionable as well...There is far more to this situation...I am Italian American as well and we are all about the family so I feel this family will follow through till there are real answers................
