Perez Hilton names Miley Cyrus 'villain of the year'
As 2009 nears, journalists across the coverage spectrum are rolling out their year-end round-ups, and intrepid gossip blogger Perez Hilton is no exception. In an interview with the New York Post yesterday, Hilton reflected on some of his favorite lowlights of 2008.
When asked who the villain of the year was, Hilton didn't miss a beat. "Miley Cyrus," he replied. "She just seemed to do nothing right. She started off poorly with pictures, leaked from her cellphone, of her in the shower. Then the Vanity Fair shoot, the trashing of her fellow costars, dating a 20-year-old when she's only 15 . . . but, whether we like it or not, she's a superstar. She's very crafty at getting our attention."
In the interview, Hilton also discussed his upcoming book. "Red Carpet Suicide," which he dedicated to none other than Britney Spears. "Without her my website would not be as fun," Hilton told the Post. "My life would not be as fun, either." As for Britney's new, healthy, seemingly sane persona, Hilton has mixed feelings: "Part of me does miss Crazy Britney."

What i dont get it...Miley is only a 16 year ld kid who ok has made mistakes but thats part of growing up..it doesnt make her a villian.Try thinking about how Miley must feel all she is trying to do is live her dream but idiots like perez hilton feel the need to try and destroy that for her..
and as for the "Red Carpet Suicide," thing celebs are under to much pressure to be perfect all the time and that just isnt possible because worms like perez are so determined to dish the dirt on all the celebs..how would you feel if you were being constantly followed and questioned 24/7...get a grip perez
This is a perfect example of the blatant disregard Mario has for not only the truth, but people in general. There is a site out there called perezrevenge.com. They pretty much tell it like it is. The funny thing is, they have all the news a day or so before "Perez Hilton" does.
i think perez is jus jealous. he keeps saying stuff bout miley and i think he gotts ta get over it! shes 16 she famous and shes gonna make mistakes. look in that pic. OMG! Shes 16 and shes grown up under the lime light as far as im concerned she has done brilliant has a hit show and 2 kwl hannah montana cds and plus her new miley cyrus cd breakout! So give her a break !
Is that all you have to do to become "famous." I can not believe what he said. Miley is only 16. She will and does mistake, just like everyone else. She is not a villain. My vote for villain is Perez Hilton . And about Britney.... She has came a long way. I am not a family member, but I am proud of her.
I sense Perez Hilton's 15 minutes of fame are about to run out. "I Thought I Lost You" from "Bolt" has already snagged a Globe nom for Miley, and it has a good chance to make her an Oscar nominee as well (no matter how much that thought makes the folks in the forums puke).
perez hilton admits he is horrid and makes most of his things up!! he says ."Without her my website would not be as fun'' at least he admits it!! he has nothin better to do with life then make up poop about others and he has something horribly wrong against miley!! he probz IS jealous of her fame!! well she deserves more than him neway!! he is the QUEEN OF THE LOWEST OF THE LOWS!!
I don't get why Perez Hilton is against Miley Cyrus. She is just trying to live her dream!! I think Perez Hilton is the villan going around and making fun of people without realizing the truth!!
