Watch Jack Black as Jesus in 'Prop 8: the Musical'

Jack Black as Jesus? Perfect casting.

Black, Neil Patrick Harris, Allison Janney, Rashida Jones, John C. Reilly, "SNL's" Maya Rudolph and other stars take on Proposition 8 on funnyordie.com, the folks that gave us those much-needed comic relief Paris Hilton political videos during election season.

The final premise? Gay marriage will save the economy.

What do you think? Do they have a point?

Could gay-marriage revenues help save California's sinking economy?

Quick, somebody call Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger!

Total lies. Of course, they try to apply the old law to Christianity.

I say we blacklist every single actor in that video. Simple, if they are in a movie refuse to see it!

1) All of Leviticus is the old law. They are just pointing it out!

2) Why don't we blacklist Thomas S. Monson. That would more appropriate!

I am always amused but flabbergasted by Bible-thumpers who pick and choose which parts of the Bible they choose to believe in. This skits nails that particular example of hypocrisy:

Approved

Slavery

Forbidden

Same-Sex Marriage.

The Bible was used by slaveholders in the South to condone slavery, or is that one of those inconvenient facts that church ladies choose to ignore?

What say we vote on bringing back slavery? After all, God apparently approves of it (the Bible says so), and there's big $$$ to be made selling your daughters to the highest bidders.

I can not beleve how mindless some people are. This is the United States of America, and is governed by the Constitution, which clearly states that religion and government MUST remain seperate.

If the goverment must remain seprate from the church then the church has no right to use the Bible as plausable proof that gay and lesbian people should not get married.

REMEMBER: GOD MAY RULE A RELIGION, BUT GOD DOSE NOT RULE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

The constitution clearly states that.

Uhh ... let's not blackmail people, okay?

After all, this was made for amusement and humor, and you must realize that all things humorous tend to make fun of other things. Even the Bible.

I think that this is absolutely horrible why are we constantly rying to lower Jesus and other religious figures to out level. It is very disrespectful , if you gay do ya thing but dont be disespectful.

Kudos to you all!!!!!

Good Luck from North Carolina

i think it was funny they have the freedom of speech to say whatever they want and it was funny and i have no problem with gay marrage because thats someone elses chice and dont be have the right to pursue happiness and if that makes them happy let them do it

Blacklisting? are you kidding me? It really scares me that we still have this kind of thinking in the world. And as far as the old testament being "old law," well in that case lets just throw out the entire old testament then. Why not just say the 10 commandments is "old law" too?

Let's save marriage by outlawing divorce. Would give new meaning to "till death do us part."
