Was defeated Sarah Palin outspent or outsmarted?
Sarah Palin wasn't shocked that the Republicans lost.
In an interview with Matt Lauer on "The Today Show," Tuesday morning, the Alaska governor now admits "it's really not so much a surprise" that Barack Obama's victory was so sweepingly large.
"We didn't get the Hispanic vote," she explains, adding, "we were outspent so tremendously."
But predominately, she blames "the anti-incumbency sentiment that was spread across the land and our ticket representing the incumbency."
Ah, so basically she's saying it's George W. Bush's fault!
Prompted by Lauder, she added some praise for Obama, saying that he "did a great job to articulate his ability to usher in change. Our ticket represented too much of the status quo."
What do you think? Were the Republicans really outspent? Or just outsmarted?

His money helped, but it was definitely the economy going down the tubes in September. I am amazed they did as well as they did.
Palin just can not admit she was a "DUD" on the ticket and her "glamour" has dimmed greatly day by day

Obama had most of the media in his corner. They were in the tank. They suppressed or lightly brushed off as being racist or smear campaigns the real issue of Obama's judgment, character and integrity. The issues of Wright, Pfleger, Farrakhan and Rezko and Obama's thin far left leaning resume were passed over or ignored. That Obama could become Commander in Chief but could not have received a security clearance to serve in the FBI is not amazing in view of the media's mesmerized hoards. The media also belittled McCain and Palin of course and with Bush's ratings so low and Obama breaking his word to use public financing the rest is history.
It's the economy that crashed in Sept.
Her response just reinforces how badly out of touch the repubs. were, she still doesn't get it.
SillY Sarah is going to have more babies? as a Governor? in the White House? Is she Abstaining? or denying Todd conjugal pleasures?
Sarah, Please go back to the frozen tundra of Alaska. Maybe you can get all down and homey and small townish in your Sachs Fifth Ave wardrobe and build a bridge to somewhere or get another state employee fired. A few months from now you will just be a quickly fading pathetic memory.
Outsmart her? You have got to be kidding. Smart is not a word you use about Palin. Canny, clever, vulgar, yes. Smart, no.
i dont know why people care so much about, when dumb s speak. Does she have brain? I would like her to be the republican nominee for 2012. As David Brooks said, she is fatal cancer to the republican party. We want such people in republican party, so that republican party is eventually wiped out of the map.
