Paris Hilton dumps Benji Madden! Is Joel Madden next?
No sooner did photos leak on the Web of Paris Hilton partying in Miami with her old beau, handsome Greek billionaire Stavros Niarchos, comes the news that Paris and Benji Madden are way over.
After nine boring months of might-as-well-be-married-and/or-dead togetherness, Paris and Benji officially ended it, Hilton's rep confirmed to Us Weekly.
"Even though they are still in love, they felt it would be better to just be friends," a source close to Hilton, 27, tells Us.
Apparently, Paris perceived Benji as overprotective and controlling. He didn't get along with any of her friends who thought Paris had changed since being with him.
Hilton and Madden first were seen making out at hot Hollywood nightclub Villa back in February. The relationship seemed to happen overnight and within days they were wearing each others initials on rings.
Gag.
The only thing interesting she did during her relationship with Benji is make two amusing presidential videos. And now that the election's over, that was kind of a dead horse.
What did our Suddenly Single Paris do last night? She bronzed her bod at the Portofino Sun Center in Beverly Hills. A sure sign that the girl is back on the market!
Frankly, this is all welcome news. The conventional, steady-relationship Paris was deadly boring. We want the old boy-crazy, single, party-girl Paris back! We bet she'll be table dancing in no time.
We wonder if Nicole Richie will be next to ditch her Madden (Joel) and became a hot single mom.

If I caught either one of them on a barbless Hook of Hope, I'd thow them both back into the Bay of Bimbos and Bad Boys as it slacks into the Parisian Sea of Pea Brains at low tide, wehre they both seem to belong.
God those guys used to work at Acme Bar & Grill in Annapolis, MD. One worked the door, the other one waited tables there. Cocky little jerks, that's for sure. And by little I mean they're short. Really short. I remember a moment in time where they played for free there one night and handed out bumper stickers. My date promptly removed the backing and stuck it on the wall, he said, "they'll never get further than this." They were kind of d*!ckheads. But oh well, now they're famous for going out with the two biggest high profile, living off daddy's money skanks in Hollywood. Good for you boys, good for you!
better off i reckon benji seamed really weird while with Paris... as for betting on weather Nicole and Joe will break up grow up really why would you want to toy with a little girls family on some blog

well I was a big GC fan, I used to love these guys but now i kinda think they've sold out. I hated the fact benji was with paris, they turned against everything they ever said they were about
I totally agree with Dianne! I also was a HUGE GC fan. But as GC grew bigger (and out shined Mest) Benji and Joel seemed to "sell out". I hate that term but there really is no better way to decribe what they have become. I remember the days of hating "popular girls". What do they think Nicole and Paris are? Hello! Who doesn't know how they are? You can't get anymore popular! I wish Nicole and Joel the best for Harlow's sake, but who really cares if "night-vison" Paris and "Sell-out" Benji are over.
i totally thought we'd catch Benji dating some hott hardcore tattoed/ pierced all over tough chick. I was so disapointed hearing about him and Paris. Who is going to want to have sex with him now?? He probably caught every std in the world there is to catch, ones that are still to be discovred!
I too, am a huge Good Charlotte fan. I think Joel saved Nicole if you ask me. She is so much better now. As for Paris, Benji tried but there is obviously no help for her. He is better off without her!! The maddens rock!!!
The Madden brothers are really good for the girls. So I think Paris is an idiot for getting rid of Benji. Nicole has proven to be smart so far so I hope she keeps it up especially since she has their kid to think about. I don't think the girls can live a decent life without the boys.
im a pretty big fan of the Madden brothers and they are great guys. Im happy for Nicole and Joel and i wish them the best. they have a beautiful family and they are happy with eachother. as for paris and benji, let them deal with it. it is none of our business to say who they should be dating. let them live their life. obviously the 2 boys dont like dirty little scene chicks so face it. pretty girls who have good style and smell pretty are better! (: who ever said they wanted a tattooed/ pierced rocker chick?
