John Mayer to host TV variety show. Like Ed Sullivan?
Will John Mayer be the new Ed Sullivan?
Maybe.
According to TMZ, Mayer will host a weekly music, variety and sketch show for the CBS network. And it may start as soon as early 2009.
Ken Ehrlich (who produces the Emmys and Grammys) will produce the show with Mayer.
The Emmys? You mean, the show that was so deadly dull this year that it was actually impossible to watch?
ODG. Run, John, run for your career!
