Jennifer Aniston to Angelina Jolie: Zip it!
And even though it's been four whole years since her divorce from Brad, Jennifer Aniston thinks Angie should keep such intimate information to herself. Then she proceeds to fan the flames of the catfight by spilling secrets of her own in the upcoming December issue of Vogue.
Inside the mag, Aniston complains that Jolie went too far in outlining the exact timeline of her relationship with Pitt on the set of "Mr. & Mrs. Smith."
"There was stuff printed that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening," Aniston says of the Jolie interview, which appeared in Vogue about two years ago. "I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss."
"That stuff about how she couldn't wait to get to work every day? That was really uncool."
Despite this, Jen says her split with Brad was not that horrible.
"I mean, in the end, we really had an amicable split," she tells Vogue. "It wasn't mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can't talk to Jen and Jen can't talk to Brad because this person won't allow it. It just didn't happen. The marriage didn't work out. And pretty soon after we separated, we got on the phone and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other."
Aniston and Pitt even talk once in a while. "We have exchanged a few very kind hellos and wishing you wells and sending you love and congratulations on your babies I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and...I'm proud of him! I think he's really done some amazing things."
A source tells the the London Daily Mail that this interview shows that Jennifer is no longer afraid of Angelina.
But she's also fearless in talking about her new home, her romantic life and her relationship with her parents. About John Mayer's blabbing to the press about their breakup, she says "Trust me, you'll never see that happen again from that man."
Tough talk. The source adds, " 'This certainly raises the bar on celebrity profiles. Jennifer opens up about her sex life, her career and her feelings about life after her divorce. 'She must have had a lot on her mind, because she lets go on everything.'
Either that or she's desperately trying to make her new film, "Marley & Me" a hit and save her romantic comedy movie career.
What do you think? Has Jen been silent long enough? Is she finally willing to take on Angelina? Should she?
She certainly looks amazing on the Vogue cover! You go, Jen!
