Zac Efron copied Ellen DeGeneres' hairstyle?

The "High School Musical 3" star finally fesses up on Ellen's show, that airs today. Ellen asks: "So you're copying me?"
"I am in fact," Efron tells her.
DeGeneres confesses that she talked about Zac's 'do with girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens recently.
"Vanessa was here a few days ago and she said she actually prefers it slicked back more with stuff in it," she says. "But then it's hard for her to put her hands in your hair because it's to full of stuff. She prefers it slicked back just to let you know."
DeGeneres offers her scissor services, after Efron says his hairstyle is partially "derived from laziness." Pulling out clippers, DeGeneres consults with the actor's mother -– sitting in the audience –- then offers to trim Efron's tousled mane.
"Do you want to take a little off the back?" he asks. "It's a little long actually."
"No, there's no blade in it," DeGeneres admits. "It was just to scare you. It's Halloween and I like to scare people."

How do you prefer Zac's hair? Brushed down with boyish bangs? Or slicked back and sophisticated?

Efron looks good either way, but maybe does look a little younger with the Ellen cut.
I prefer it loose like in the photo above on the left, it may have been because it was different days but his skin looks softer and fresh in the picture above on the right, it could be his hair that does that but probably not
