Sarah Palin's sister thinks Tina Fey is 'dead on'
Just how accurate is Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin?
"Dead on," says Palin's sister Heather Bruce.
Bruce told The Insider in a two-part interview airing Thursday and today that "Tina does a great job. Maybe [she] goes a little bit overboard with the sarcastic expressions, but I know that's Hollywood."
Bruce couldn't make herself watch Katie Couric grilling her sis, but thought Sarah would do a great job debating Joe Biden.
"I have a feeling people will see some of the old Sarah we know and some new great surprises and great revelations."
Turns out she was right.
Most critics felt that while Palin failed to be specific (again), she held her own against Biden in her inimitable folksy way, appealing to "soccer moms" and "Joe six-pack" sitting around "the kitchen table" during last night's debate.
What did you think? Were you impressed by Sarah's performance?

I was indeed impressed, though not surprised (I'm a supporter of McCain/Palin). I also thought Biden did a great job as a speaker anyway, and purely on style and impression I'd consider the "debate" a draw.
I thought the moderator was very fair despite the supposed conflict of interest.
I wish Sarah had pointed out that the Dems are responsible for the economic crisis, which was not caused by deregulating the free market, but by interfering in it. The best solution now, believe it or not, is DO NOTHING and let the market do its (admittedly painful for many) correction.
Palin is nothing but BUSH in a skirt. It made me sick to my stomach to think she could be the next person in the White House. That's worse than selling the Lincoln bedroom.
Can't wait to see the SNL skit this weekend!
The repeated talking points, overdone folksiness, and above all the suggestive wink...I bet Tina will outdo the "real" Palin

No, not impressed. I think Biden even had to answer a question for her (about gay marriage). She danced around the questions, read from her script, winked and smirked at the camera, and pretended to be Ronald Reagan (just like McCain). Palin sounded like a hick from the sticks, mispronouncing words ("nucular") and dropping her g's, so she provided no proof, merely a lot of "aw shucks" lip service, to her unconvincing blather about the value of education and growing up in a family of teachers, which sounds like something left over from her beauty pageant days. Definitely not VP material.
I felt that Palin performed much better than everyone anticipated. There were very low expectations set for her but she managed to meet and surpass them.
However, Biden was the clear winner in the debate. While Palin came across as scripted and rehearsed at times, Biden seemed very comfortable, confident and knowledgeable. His answers came from his own experience, opinions and conlusions, not some pre-cooked answers and punchlines memorized over the course of the past few days, which is exactly what Palin did to prepare for this debate.
impressed? no. She wasn't a trainwreck. Is that enough to qualify for the presidency? I sure hope not.

I think Tina Fey's impersonation of Sarah Palin makes Palin seem less evil and corrupt than she really is. Sarah Palin puts on the dumb act because her real views are revolting to most everyone. The debate showed that Palin can read from her note cards and put on the folksy act. Palin is evil and would create more world turmoil and give more taxpayer money to Republican cronies. Ask Palin about her stonewalling the Troopergate investigation. Yeah, that's folksy.
I wonder what Tina Fey thinks (politically) of Sarah Palin?
Democrats are into politics for the sole purpose of obscuring the definition of morality, and passing subsequent laws that make morality illegal in the United States.
At our nation's greatest crisis, the Civil War, these same democrats wanted to destroy the United States rather than being considered equal to the black man; today, these democrats want to destroy the United States rather than being considered equal to unborn Americans---what a legacy.
This is why Saturday Night Live will never do a parody about Obama and his riduculous credentials, background, accusations, and proposals.
