Boy's body found, may be Jennifer Hudson's nephew
Sad, sad news.
The body of a small boy has been found in the vehicle police were looking for in the search for Julian King, 7, the missing nephew of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Hudson.
The missing 1994 white Chevrolet Suburban was found around 8 a.m.
The Cook County medical examiner's office says the body of a black boy was found inside. The child had not been identified. But fears are that this is Julian, who was reported missing Friday after his grandmother and uncle were found shot to death inside the family's home.
A law enforcement source said bullet casings were found in the boy's room on Friday.
Chicago police have interviewed William Balfour, 27 -- the estranged husband of the boy's mother, Julia Hudson -- in connection with the case.
Police say his alibi for the day of the killings has been contradicted by his girlfriend. The missing SUV was found about 2 1/2 miles from his girlfriend's home.
Hudson had offered $100,000 for the safe return of the boy over the weekend.

This is a very sad thing that has happened here. My prayers and heart go out to Jennifer Hudson and her family for their loss. God has the last say in everything and this crime will not go unpunished. How could anyone be so low, cruel, and heartless as to do something like this. I think the family does deserve their privacy. This is extremely hard and too much feedback and constant prying is not necessary.
May God strengthen you & your family, as you will surely need His strength, faith & above all His Love.
I feel for her & her family. Still to this day I just do not understand how anyone could hurt a child or take them from there home. Or any human.
I just hope the media is kind to her through this. They need to have their privacy. But of course they won't.
