Anna Nicole Smith's daughter Dannielynn gets a yard!
Larry Birkhead has been raising his daughter, Dannielynn Smith, in her mother, Anna Nicole Smith's, Coldwater Canyon home.
But Larry tells Life & Style magazine that he's put the home on the market and they're moving to a new home with a backyard.
"You know, I always said I'd never sell, but the longer we've been here, the more I've realized it's not built for children," Larry tells Life & Style. "We live over a canyon, and while the view's great, there's no backyard. I've bought Dannielynn every toy under the sun, but they can't replace a yard. She doesn't have a place to have her friends over to play."
He's already seen one in Calabasas that he likes. "It's a little farther out in L.A. than we are now, so it's less crazy. And there are tons of children in the neighborhood. It seems very kid-friendly."
But little Dannielynn's also got another home with a yard: a 10,000-square-foot house in Louisville, Kentucky, near Larry's family.
"I've thought about moving there permanently at some point, when it's time to find a good school for Dannielynn. That will be on the horizon soon."
Larry has kept a closet of Anna Nicole's clothes -- from casual to glam -- for Dannielynn. "I want her to understand how beautiful and glamorous her mom was."
And he's planning to give his daughter his cross necklace that matches the one Anna Nicole was wearing when she died, when she's old enough.
Sounds like this little girl will have a much more stable childhood than poor Anna Nicole had.
And a much better life as a result.

Larry Birkhead impregnated sick, drug addicted, middle aged woman for the fame and money. He lived with his boyfriend Byron, hairdresser, when he met Anna Nicole. Dannielynn is his only source of income, he doesn't have a job.He is pitiful gay loser.
It would seem to be a great idea to buy a house with a yard for the poor little richgirl to play in. Her money or his?
Thank god he has this child where else would he get his income . What about poor Howard he is the one who was there for a number of years and he is the one who always stood by her. Not like this gold digger.

You are all silly. What a great dad! Sadly, if Anna had lived, I fear Dannielynn would have been raised in a very bad environment.
I'm so happy for Larry Birkhead and Baby Danielynn. I can tell the Baby is well takin care of and she looks so healthy and happy. They look exactly alike, she resembles Mom, but looks more like Daddy. I feel that he's the BEST Dad for Danielynn. I pray that the Lord will keep them safe and in good health.
Has it been confirmed that Birkhead is a homosexual, and if it has, so what? Anna Nicole was sued for sexual harrassment by Maria Cerrato, her nanny. Hopefully the people involved in this girl's life can set aside their perversions and give her a stable loving home. Unfortunately, I think she is better off then if Anna Nicole was raising her.

Don't all you idiots that are bashing Anna / Larry realize what had happened to begin with? We have to "uncalled deaths", one unemployed Howard who is miserable and one guy, Larry, who happened to "bang" Anna whether she was all drugged up or not who is now responsible for Dannielynn?! He is the only one here for her. SHE IS THE ONE who matters now. Who cares about all that has happened, it's a sad sad story. Poor little girl will not personally know her mom or brother. What a bunch of losers you guys are!!!
Whatever he did Anna was a part of it. Larry is the biological father and has every right to care for his daughter who happened to be sole heir to her dead mother's money. IVE SEEN WORSE THINGS HAPPEN. As long as he is taking care of the child and money is saved for her future too he should enjoy the fruits of Nicole's Labor...Both
