'American Idol's' Paris Bennett gives birth to baby girl!
American Idol's Paris Bennett, known as "Princess P" on the show's fifth season, gave birth to a daughter Monday afternoon.
The little girl weighed 5 pounds, 15 ounces.
Paris was in labor for five hours but later told People, "I'm so excited to finally see my little angel and, man, does she have lungs on her. I guess she's gearing up to the be the next American Idol."
When Paris announced her pregnancy in June, her mother also revealed that her daughter's baby daddy chooses "not to be in the public eye."
OK. But let's just hope he wants to be in his daughter's eye.
Bennett's album, "A Royal Christmas," comes out on Oct 14.

it's a shame kids don't know about birth control these days.

don't judge the father whom you know nothing about; additionally, i know a number of males who arent good fathers and they are not "brothers"
all walks of life will certainly present negative comments. walk in a person's shoes for more than a minute, then have something to contribute. paris may not have wanted a pregnancy, nothing in life is planned, birth control or not, however she has a career and talent. usually those who lack one or more positive roles another has they are quick to throw stones. if the father choses to be a shadow, that is his loss, not Egypt, definitely not paris, she knows what she wants and she is moving ahead, done deal a christmas Cd, what then will be next, yep keep you folks guessing. oprah had a pregnancy, but what it all comes dowwn to being focus, having support, not color, or creed, focusing on the positive. we are on the outside looking in, who knows paris's story, who is judging you. can you pay your bills with the diving economy, paris can..hello

Wow - Paris had a baby! She has always been my favorite idol! Love her voice and definitely professionally trained. I understand the father does not want to stay with her. How unfortunate for him! She seems like such a sweet young women and certainly attractive! Good luck to her!
