Did Tina Fey go too far in making fun of Sarah Palin?
Yet another scathingly funny Sarah Palin spoof was aired on "Saturday Night Live."
This time, Amy Poehler was cast as the pursed-lip, humorless Katie Couric, staring in stunned wonderment at Tina Fey's impersonation of an idiotically dim Sarah Palin, as she babbles like a beauty queen about her visit to New York, seeing Osama bin Laden, meeting with foreign leaders, going into Afghanistan, and explains her close relationship with Russia.
If you missed it (Set your Tivos; I'm betting this is going to be a regular "SNL" feature until the election), you can watch the nbc.com clip here.
What do you think? Is it: A) Hilarious, B) Sad, C) Frighteningly real, or D) Just too much.
Did "SNL" go too far with their Palin poking? Or should they keep it up? What do you think?
Most important, does it affect your vote?

C) Frighteningly real. But not as frightening as the real interviews. I want to vote for executives and statepersons who have a broad understanding of world and national history, politics, law, economics, science, etc. I don't think a few weeks of briefings is enough to offset her lack of knowledge.
Tina-you are a genius! Keep this up-
anything anyone can do to put the truth about Palin out there is fantastic! The truth is-Tina is right on-she totally is portraying her the way she is..I'm an avid fan!!!!
The difference between Fey and Palin? Fey spoke in coherent sentences.
A & C~ How could it be going too far? Comedy has a place in politics. Making satire out of the interview was far too easy, so absolutely Tina Fey did NOT go too far. She fulfilled a responsibility as a comedian of today.
Tina fey is making publicity for the vp debate this week. There will be at least 20% more people watching this debate then the last one with mccaine and obama. But whom this will serve will be seen. From mccains number going up till republicans leaving the party everything will be possible.
Too far? Did you see the Couric interview? This was nearly a documentary piece!
Tina Fey needs to be careful not to awaken the Republicans to their candidate too soon.... less John McCain will have time to go to Hooters and find a replacement.
Tina Fey is a and is vastly overrated, less attractive version of Sarah Palin.Palin had one bad interview and the media are rushing to deranged judgment. It was not that long ago that Obama said there are 57 states and made many flubs that the media constantly ignore. The vast majority of the voters will not make a voting assessment based on this interview or on MSM critiques. They are smarter than that.
Too far? No, of course not. For a parody, a shockingly high percentage of the things Tina Fey said were verbatem from the Couric interview.
You can't criticize Tina Fey for the fact that Sarah Palin is actually that ridiculous. It's just not Fey's fault.
Too Funny!! No she didn't go too far she was tight on!
