Sarah Palin strutted her stuff like a champ in the swimsuit competition in one of her early beauty contests.
Of course, this was long before she got into local politics, then rose to become Alaska's governor and eventually ended up being considered for the No. 2 position in the highest levels of American government.
Before she could say "Oh, shucks," she was being briefed on foreign affairs by Henry Kissinger and meeting foreign leaders and explaining how she really can see Russia from her house to that mean old sourpuss Katie Couric on the CBS Evening News.
Golly, whodathunk it!
Let's hope Putin doesn't see this video or he'll be doing a lot more fly-bys over Alaska.

All I can say is that the choice of Palin reflects on McCain's judgment. He did not critically vet her before choosing her. Just like the Bush Administration did not critically vet the intelligence about Iraq before invading. If that's how he's going to choose his Vice-President, what other rash decisions would he make as President? Ba-a-ad judgment!
