Gossip mag gives Gov. Sarah Palin full celeb treatment

Covb_9Us Weekly's cover story on Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is giving John McCain's VP pick a real roll in the celebrity gossip trough.

The mag, on newsstands today, points out that Palin, a mother of five, is strictly anti-abortion (even in cases of rape and incest) and staunchly opposed to sex-education classes, preferring abstinence instruction for teenagers.

Yeah, and that worked out real well for her daughter Bristol, 17 and five months pregnant.

Us Weekly reports that, following the announcement about her daughter' pregnancy, questions have arisen about Palin's outspokenness and McCain's lack of judgment in his selection.

Barbara Belknap, former president of the National Organization of Women's Juneau chapter, tells Us Weekly, "Here's a textbook case of how abstinence-only doesn't work in practice, even if your mom's the governor."

If you're interested, Us Weekly has more dirt on Palin, the false conspiracy and photos that led to the announcement about her daughter's pregnancy, what Palin is really like, and why her daughter's baby daddy, Levi Johnston, says he doesn't want children.

By the way, word from Johnston's mother is that Levi is attending the Republican National Convention with the rest of the Palin family.

Great. Maybe the entire Spears clan will attend too.

By the way, the Web is reportedly burning up with searches for bikini and nude photos of Palin. Let us know if you find any! And no, Julia Louis-Dreyfus nude doesn't count!

The Beverly Hillbillies come to Washington. Jesus H. Christ, how much worse can this train reck of a family get?

Wow. Why don't you research some of these stories rather than believe a liberal-biased gossip magazine. Those stories are so skewed and twisted around it's not even funny. For instance, the magazine completely neglected to mention that Palin's husband's DUI was over twenty years ago. Also, that whole "troopergate" is complete BS too considering that the officer she was trying to get fired had also tazed his own step-son and delivered death threats to Palin's own father. So get informed or stop stating your opinion please.

Can you believe the liberal media? This was so bad McCain canceled a CNN interview over it

I call for the absolute resignation of this blogger! To actually encourage the American people to find nude pictures of the Woman running on the presidential ticket is as sexist as sexism comes!!! Is this the kind of reporting (and blogging!) you want for our mothers, and grandmothers, and sisters, and daughters?

i am amazed how all the r n c speeches focused on what the dems are doing, and talked nothing of real issues of their own

amazing--- given we are in desperate times.sad

This is the most discusting excuse for "journalism" I have ever seen. I hope these lynchmob vultures who are preying on children to sell magazines get to feel the pain they have inflicted on this family. I will never by this magazine or Rolling Stone again
