Elton John could 'snort' Lily Allen under the table

Things got a little sloppy last night when Elton John and Lily Allen were onstage at the GW Men of the Year Awards at the Royal Opera House in London.
Allen arrived -- wearing a Dolce & Gabbana gown and Chopard jewelry -- apparently feeling no pain while swilling champagne as the odd couple handed out awards. Frankly, she looked a bit bored.
But when Lily introduced Carol Vorderman to the stage with a verbal tirade, using the F-word no fewer than five times in the same sentence, Elton lost it.
When Miss Allen announced "and now the most important part of the night," Elton ad-libbed, "What? Are you going to have another drink?"
Firing back first with profanity, she told Elton: "I am 40 years younger than you and have my whole life ahead of me!'
Elton snapped back, "I could still snort you under the table." To which Lily hurled more profanity, then said, "I don't know what you are talking about."
Later, when Elton mentioned 82-year-old crooner Tony Bennett's age as he handed out the Inspiration Award, Miss Allen profanely boasted that she'd -- well, let's just say that Miss Allen still considers Mr. Bennett attractive.
Slugging bubbly from a bottle behind the podium, loopy Lily had to be helped off the stage and carried out to the car by her bodyguard.
This isn't the first time Lily has overindulged at a magazine awards party. She also overdid the bubbly at the Glamour Magazine Women of the Year awards in June. (See photo at left)
Too bad she won't remember any of this. Let's hope they got it on tape and can show it to her at rehab.
