Gov. Sarah Palin's e-mail account is hacked, everyone weighs in

In case you hadn't heard, a sampling of Gov. Sarah Palin's private e-mails are all over the Web after a hacker posted her login and password on a bulletin board on the 4chan.org website.

Gawker has a particularly reader-friendly display of the e-mails on its site.

Included in the pickings are e-mails to Ivy Frye, a Palin aide who's wondering how best to hide correspondence with the governor; a contact list of family members private cell and e-mail accounts; cranky e-mails between Lt. Gov. Sean Parnell and Palin complaining about a popular Alaskan talk radio host; and a few family photos.

Los Angeles Times Web culture reporter David Sarno has a detailed account of the group that helped disseminate Palin's e-mails and why they consider the invasion an "epic fail." See more on Web Scout.

Times political blogger Andrew Malcolm cracks wise, suggesting this is why Sen. John McCain doesn't use e-mail over on the Campaign '08 blog Top of the Ticket.

Yikes. Is this a horrendous invasion of privacy? Is it illegal? And what does it all prove? Why is it important? Does anyone have a clue?

So we found out that dumbo Sarah has some brain cells after all. She can use email. Bravo, Sarah. You are certainly better than your old man.

She absolutely deserves it.

if she uses a yahoo account for her email, she should EXPECT that it will get phished considering her public position.

this PROVES that she does not understand what she is getting herself into.

she had no CLUE that she might get hacked.

she did not even understand that yahoo is not safe,

she is an idiot. it is beyond funny.

18 U.S.C. 1030(a)(2)(C), accessing a protected computer without authorization to obtain information--Punishment, 1 year in prison.

18 U.S.C. 1030(c)(2)(B)(ii)-(iii) -- accessing a protected computer without authorization to obtain information IF the offense was committed in furtherance of any criminal or tortious act in violation of the Constitution or laws of the United States or of any State--Punishment, 5 years in prison.

Hacking into a private email account, even an easily cracked Yahoo account, is no joke.

And, BTW, the FBI has already identified the probable hacker.

This is a bunch of BS. Palin herself deleted all the files so as not to implicate herself guilty of any wrongdoing in the Troopergate investigation. What an ingenious way of doing it. Was this at Bush's suggestion? As you know, files there were lost too, remember?

What this may lead to is an understanding that she is capable of loading an email account with only stuff she wants us to look at, and then hiring someone to get an unsuspecting person to hack in by getting them doped up on the date-rape-drug. It has been done before, and she is as sneaky selfish as the book "Snakes In Suits: When Psychopaths Go To Work" warns us to look out for.

Its nice that everyone thinks McCain CAN't use email. The sad fact is, after all the abuse he was subject to, he can't type or get his hands together in front of him to type on a keyboard. His wife does all his emailing for him.

Use Spokeo.com and u can run a deep search on every email in her account. U can find out what online accounts these emails are connected to.
