Benicio Del Toro is a real lady killer at 'Che' Madrid premiere

Benecio

Benicio Del Toro was pretty busy in Spain on a media blitz surrounding his upcoming film about Che Guevara, the South American rebel leader.

BeneciodeltoroSteven Soderbergh's film premiered in Cannes under the name "Che," actually a combination of two films -- "The Argentine" and "Guerrilla" -- and earned Del Toro the fest's best actor award.

"Che" also showed at the Toronto Film Festival, snipped to a shorter four hours, 22 minutes, a full four minutes shorter than the Cannes version, which is still a heckuva lot of time in a movie theater chair.

The film's Madrid premiere after-party, sponsored by Esquire, was held September 2 at the ME Madrid's rooftop bar where the film's Latin star was in full demand, with all the ladies lined up next to him all night.

"It looked like a free wine tasting," said one observer. The photo at top, of Benicio with a blond, brunette and a redhead, also looks like a still photo from Woody Allen's Spain-set threesome sex romp "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." (Although, as some ladies may point out, Benicio is no Javier Bardem.)

Here's betting Benicio and Javier will also be hanging out in Hollywood during the upcoming Oscar season.

Ladies, brush up on your espanol.

While the Spanish women were certainly impressed, the men should have been too.

Benicio was a total gentleman, warm and approachable thoughout the evening. While this pic shows him with the leggy ladies, he also happily smiled aside others eager to congratulate him on his film.

This is one personality Hollywood's fame and fortune has not destroyed.

A true modern "caballero".
