Angelina Jolie plays a fearless single mom in 'Changeling'
Angelina Jolie's new film, "Changeling," earned all kinds of raves when it debuted in Cannes. In Clint Eastwood's newest, Jolie plays Christine Collins, a devoted and hardworking single mom.
Collins is all alone, with very little money or status, and yet she takes on corrupt, sexist and callous Los Angeles city officials to protect her son, in an era when women who tried to fight the system were thrown in the loony bin. But rather than deliver a rehash of Jolie's Oscar-winning portrayal of self-harming Lisa Rowe in "Girl, Interrupted," Jolie plays Collins as a steadfast truth seeker who refuses to take no for an answer.
Plus Jolie looks great in deep red lipstick, pin curls and that period '20s cloche hat, drop-waist dress garb. In one of the film's only lighthearted scenes, Jolie also dons a pair of classic old roller skates.
Will you go see this?

Absolutely.
I'll be there on opening day.
Jolie has grown and matured and I think will become a 'great' actress... it looks like a great film... can't wait to see it!
Ill see anything she does. She's actually truly talented and makes interesting choices in her work. She's one actress in Hollywood that really has earned her status. She takes chances. So yes-I am there.
I researched this story when I first heard about it. It is truly horrifying what the LAPD did to Christine Collins.
Jolie will be wonderful in this role and I cannot wait to see it!
I'm hoping Jolie gets nominated for an Oscar for Changeling. She was wonderful in A Mighty Heart, and was unfairly snubbed.
a fantastic actress i love all her movies and i can not wait for this movie to come to my country to see it on the big screen and i just love how hollywood is bring back the old days
