Will Britney Spears do a 'Pussycat' lesbian stripper killer?
Quentin Tarantino wants Britney Spears bad. Real bad.
He's reportedly trying to line up the singer/dancer to play a bloodthirsty lesbian stripper in his remake of the 1965 Russ Meyer 1965 cult classic exploitation film "Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!"
The film is about three thrill-seeking strippers who meet up with a young couple in the desert.
Spears' Varla character murders the boyfriend with her bare hands before kidnapping the girl.
Lovely. And Britney gets to do sex scenes with another girl before the movie ends in a splatter-licious bloodbath.
Hey, it kinda makes sense. I mean, back when Britney was ... um, unstable, she was always hanging out with strippers at nightclubs, parties and pools and trading clothing with them.
But she may have to audition. There's some competition. Porn star Tera Patrick wants the role too.
Maybe they can fight for it. In bikinis. In the mud.
Who will play the other strippers? How about Lindsay Lohan and Tori Spelling? Or better, Carmen Electra or one of the famous Pussycat Dolls themselves. Dita von Teese? Nyah, she's a bit too reserved and doesn't look like she'd get her hands bloody.
A source is quoted in the the British paper the Telegraph saying, "Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She's delighted. She thinks it could turn her career around. It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She's playing the most important character."
Well, it's gotta do better than "Crossroads," Britney's first and only starring role, as a high school grad on a road trip to find her long-lost mom.
She won two Razzies for Worst Actress and Worst Original Song for that bomb.

And why do I have the feeling this movie will probably feature Rose McGowan and/or Brittany Murphy?

Wow, this just shows how out-of-touch Tarantino is with movie-goers. Britney Spears is a joke and a has-been.
First off has beens don't sell three million albums after a four year hiatus in which you pull every ridiculous stunt you can. Crossroads wasent a bomb it was just ill received it made back its money three fold and was number two at the box office that year.
I think there's a lot of promise in this idea, however far-fetched it may be in actuality. Just as Ann said, "Britney Spears is a joke and a has-been." If that's how America views her, then I see no reason why this role wouldn't be perfect for her. I think Tarantino could do great things with Britney, maybe give her direction (something that has alluded her throughout her carrer, apparently). I say thumbs up, and if it does actually end up happening, good luck to Britney. Her resilience through this entire disgusting ordeal with the media and her children at least proves that she's meant to do something in this business. Now maybe she can find her niche?

Lohan should be offered the part. Brit Brit is no lesbian and Lohan is. This is like having a white guy play a black guy. Get real, get a real hot lesbian like Lohan. Guys would go just to see her kissing girls.
Remember, this is the same guy who saved Travolta from the greasy myre. So by extension Brittney will become a smug scientoligist. That would be like trading in one evil for a greater evil. Don't do it Brittney for the sake of Federlines kids.
