Kate Winslet, Leo DiCaprio make love for Sam Mendes. Awkward!
It was more than a little unnerving for Kate Winslet to make love with Leonardo DiCaprio in front of director hubby Sam Mendes, for their new drama, "Revolutionary Road."
Kate and Leo play a suburban couple who embark on a journey of discovery in "Road," based on Richard Yates' 1961 novel, that's due out in December, just in time for Oscar consideration.
According to the IHT, she told Entertainment Weekly, "I just kept saying, `This is too ... weird. And Leo was like, `Oh, get over it.' And I'm going, `Yeah, a little reminder: You're my best friend. He's my husband. This is a bit weird.'"
Mendes confessed, "I will admit it was quite bizarre to direct my wife in how to make love. But it's difficult whether you're married to a person or not."
Kate and Leo have not been onscreen lovers since the romantic Oscar-winning film "Titanic."
But apparently, even after 11 years, those embers smolder.
"I hadn't realized how much my chemistry with him since `Titanic' would still stick," says Kate. "It's great to discover we can just slip right into it, like muscle memory."
Are you looking forward to seeing Kate and Leo steam up a car window again, like they did in "Titanic"?

I've always wondered about this sort of thing. It must be difficult and awkward.
I'm so eager to see this film; I think the pairing of Winslet and DiCaprio as the lead characters is brilliant. Each has their own unique star power, but together they truly ignite when in front of the camera. December cannot come fast enough!
Anyone notice the dork in the background? Gore? HE DID NOT WIN AN OSCAR!!
Most excited about the director's use of Nina Simone's 'Wild As the Wind." It's the perfect musical foil for the dramatic crux of the story.
