Brangelina baby time: Just how smiley are Knox and Vivienne?
According to Parenting magazine, babies don't smile socially (in response to something outside themselves) until they are 2-4 months old.
So why, asks New York Magazine, is Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's new baby Vivienne -- photographed at 3 weeks old -- smiling on the cover of People magazine, with her more somber brother, Knox?
NY Mag is calling "Photoshop" on the photos or wondering if maybe it's true that those babies were born earlier and kept hidden from view?
Oh dear. They also wonder if the babies are developing skills FASTER THAN NON-SUPERSTAR HUMAN BABIES?
Yes, yes. That's got to be it. It's a new super race of celebrities. Just as we have long suspected.
Except that Parenting magazine also adds that babies can smile at birth and have been seen in the womb via ultrasounds smiling in the last trimester.
But research shows that those early smiles are just in response to the internal pleasure of falling asleep or waking up.
In Viv's case, it was perfect timing.
Problem over here is that it only makes us want to more thoroughly inspect all the photos inside the magazine, yes, more than we already have.

This is a stupid article.. Its not that serious to photoshop a babys smile. I have seen tons of newborns smile! Why must there always be some sort of controversy when it comes to there two?! They are wonderful, leave them be!
i know right wish i could get a tenth of what they get life is no not fair....but they are beautifull.....but then again so are mine!!!!
babies make all kinds of facial expression in response to physiological responses. Anyone who has ever had one knows this.

note to NY magazine. look at pap websie X17 for invasive photo's of brad and a CLEARLY STILL PREGNANT WITH REAL BUMP angelina getting ready for bed about 4 days before the 12th july birth. so the twins were not early fools!
Has life become such a dreary place that we cannot just be happy for them - hell, there are thousands of couples who cannot have children - the kid smiled - let it GO!!!
I've got news for everyone, that baby is probably not smiling, it's probably taking a pooh!
I get a kick out of those who say that Brad and Angelina must be "so tired" from raising all those kids...they're NOT, they probably have a nanny for each child.
