FBI seizes 'Princess Diaries' Anne Hathaway's private memoirs

Raffaellofollieriannehathaway__Even though Anne Hathaway has cut off all communication with Raffaello Follieri, the FBI has confiscated the actress' intimate journals, looking for dirt on her ex-fiance's financial wheelings and dealings.

Follieri has been charged with 11 counts of fraud and money laundering.

The New York Daily News is reporting that FBI agents also snagged photos of Follieri with Hathaway, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Pope John Paul II, and John and Cindy McCain, as well as documents, watches, a Tiffany clock and an antique Bible.

Since his June 24 arrest stemming from allegations that he convinced investors he could use his  Vatican connections to buy Catholic Church properties at below-market prices, Follieri has remained in custody at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York.

Good thing Anne Hathaway finally got smart and dumped this dude.

But let's hope those private journals don't fall into the wrong hands, like at some headline-hungry tabloid.

I expect we'll be seeing publication of those "intimate" journals at some point, either as a legitimate book or online. Either way, it'll be impossible for the FBI to prevent leakage, or for Anne to not cave to a publisher's million dollar offer.
