Christie Brinkley keeps kids and homes. Peter Cook gets $2.1 mill?
The very bitter and very public Christie Brinkley/Peter Cook divorce is over. Life can go on!
According to the Associated Press, via the Los Angeles Times, the sparring ex-spouses settled after a night of intense negotiations with their lawyers in a Long Island hotel.
Brinkley got sole custody of their two children, Jack, 13, and Sailor, 10, and 18 (18?) Hamptons properties.
Cook gets $2.1 million. He also gets "parenting time," but Brinkley has sole decision-making power for the kids.
A source told People that Brinkley and Cook did speak briefly to each other during the evening negotiations, adding, "They don't communicate well."
Well, what do you expect? The couple separated two years ago when Brinkley found out -- from the girl's stepfather -- about her husband's affair with his teenage assistant Diana Bianchi.
I could think of a few choice words for Cook if he'd been my husband.

Christie's daughter looks like an old jewish broad next to her stunning mother..i had to do a double take...looks like billy joel with ****.
Not only Dr. Herman, but also the lawyers said it: Brinkley is a very very very angry woman, very furious even after two years since the Bianchi thing came out. In my opinion this anger, especially, and maybe her "untouchable" ego seems to be the main reason she keeps jumping from hubby to hubby. She has husband number four behind her and yet still I doubt if she really knows the reason why: where the problem actually lies. A good marriage depends not only on love but also the ability to respect and forgive one another in turbulent times and not simply putting ones ego above everything else. Talking of hubby number five. What does she need another hubby for? The occasional sex (once or twice in a year)? She doesn`t need another unfortunate hubby for that. A one night stand would do. Men are really suffering! She just wants to frustrate another poor guy with her anger and ego, only to drag him through another bitter divorce to the detriment of her kids, too. Had she learned to control her anger she would maybe have still been married to husband number one till today. Also, I doubt if a child`s biological father would have pushed his/her head in to a bucket of water as she claimed peter did: if only she (Christie) had learned to stay with a single hubby.
She happens to share some traits with my ex who is also very very very angry. She claims I do work too much to feed the family - I am a Software Developer. Is that reason enough to be angry with someone? I think it is a serious disorder to be unnecessarily angry on such an alarming scale. She keeps throwing her weight about violently, powered by the momentum of her vicious anger. We happen to be living in her country where I am a foreigner. I just hope she doesn't crash that weight of her's against the wall just like Christie crashed her's againts Peter Cook's formidable wall!
Aaahhh, the world is better now. I feel a great weight has been lifted now that this situation has been settled. Now we can go back to the more mundain issues of iran's nuclear weapons and the wars in Iraq and Afphganistan
All I can say is if a wife of mine had sex 2 times a year I would have kicked her out long ago. Hell 2 times a month would be unexceptable. I guess the only differerence would be I wouldn't have slept with a 16 year old first. You have to have some class.
If Kathy Gifford found a way to forgive Frank then I think Christy could have worked with out if she wanted to. This never had to go public at all. Christie just wanted to make a big seen. I agree she is a big flake.
Her ex is a pedophile and porn addict. Granted, she should be over the worse of her anger by now, but let's not confuse you're angry exes with Christy Brinkley. I love how shes's the villian because she refused to accept her hubby's infedelities. And everyone is so quick to judge her for being married 4 times, but look at the rest of celebrity marriages! For her age, 4 marriages is nothing.
Who is the so called beauty here? Granny beauty or what? At least, 70% of all men, given the choice, will admit they prefer Bianchi to Brinkley because of several factors. Peter Cook has finally freed himself. He accepted 2.1 mil because he isn't a gold digger, period. His profession wouldn't go down because clients have their own heads!

Neither of these people is anywhere near being a Rocket Scientist. They have contributed minimally to society , as a whole. They are both apparently ego-maniacal. Why is time being wasted worrying about their mundane, personal lives? Why am I bothering to write this. I was bored, I guess. Go figure.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Both Christie and her daughter are beautiful and it is cruel and unecessary to say otherwise. Why be mean?
The real issue at hand is What is up with men and teen porn? I made my own discovery last year and it is uncalled for a father or older man to view teens as sex objects. It is not healthy for a father/daughter relationship let alone an adult/minor relationship.
The teen porn i just viewed recently is absolutely filthy and disgusting. Porn can have it's place in a relationship., but this type of barely legal filth crosses the line!!!
I had sex w/h my husband once a week (his request), when i wanted more he would rudely push me away. He wanted sex on his terms, if not it became an arguement.
Please be careful not to judge or ridicule Christie so easy. Maybe, her husband set off bad vibes or was mean to her? The bottom line, is that this type of porn is a problem and is responsible for the destruction of alot of families.
Unfortunately, I am learning alot of what i would rather not know about.
