After spending some time at Bono's Southern France chateau, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly asked the internationally acclaimed U2 rock star/philanthropist to be the godfather to their twins, Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.
What, George Clooney was too busy?
Who'd make the better godfather? Angelina's brother, James Haven; Bono; Matt Damon; or Clooney?

Isn't it interesting that they didn't ask for celebrity godparents for their adopted children of color or for their biological daughter? They only need a celebrity godparent for the biological (and white) male child. They are already making it clear that this biological white male child is superior in their estimation to their non-white, non-biological, and non-male children. Notice they had no interest in selling pictures of their adopted children. Now their biological children will grow up being able to say, "Hey, my photo is worth millions and the photos of my adopted brothers and sister (of color) are worth nothing." Do they think the adopted kids won't notice. Great way to raise adopted kids. Scary.
Also, I wonder what Bono will say when Angelina tells him she's voting for John McCain?
I fully agree with you, Di. It was exactly what I thought when read the article. Hope that Bono says ''no'' for this invite.
Why would the twins ~need~ a Godfather? I thought Brad and Angelina weren't raising their children in any religion or faith.
