'Batgirl' Alicia Silverstone relives her 'Bat' glory days

AliciasilverstoneAlicia Silverstone, of "Clueless" fame, will always be remembered for her Batgirl turn in Joel Schumacher's campy, corny and, oh, just plain dreadful 1997 "Batman and Robin."

The superhero flick starred George Clooney in a oft-ridiculed nippled Batsuit and Chris O'Donnell as Robin, with Uma Thurman chewing the scenery as Poison Ivy and Arnold Schwarzenegger as Mr. Freeze.

Click here to see Alicia kick butt and to remember just how bad the "Batman" series used to be.

Well, in West Hollywood on Tuesday morning, I spied Silverstone with my own eyes in black Lycra bike shorts and a hot pink racer-back tank burning up some major calories in the front row at Tevia Celli's spin class at Body and Soul Workout on Santa Monica Boulevard.

Is she getting back into shape for another stab at the role - and wiggling into that skin-tight Batgirl suit?

Probably not.

But she never looked better in black Lycra, so never say never.

After spinning, Alicia stretched out in the Power Plate room, listening to several other students talking about how much they liked "Dark Knight."

(She didn't say if she liked it or if she'd had seen it.)

And, of course, I was too out of breath and red in the face to ask.
