Are Britney Spears and Madonna bringing sexy back?
This year Britney Spears' has gotten a bit more custody of her kids, good reviews for her TV appearances and is making a video for Madonna's new tour.
Madonna's back in the public eye in a big way with a new album, a concert tour, a Malawi documentary, and a rumored affair with the New York Yankees' Alex Rodriguez.
So are Britney Spears and Madonna making a comeback in the minds of men?
Not exactly.
Let's look at that intrepid barometer of hotness, the FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World list, released this spring.
In 2005, Britney Spears was #6 on FHM's 100 Sexiest list. In 2006, she wasn't on the list at all. And in 2007 she was #54.
In 2008, Britney's at the bottom of the barrel, #100. That's directly under Victoria Beckham, the Oily Girls from E!'s Sunset Tan, Amber Heart and Carmit Bacher (who the heck are they?), Lauren Conrad, Olga Kurylenko, Whitney Able and Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Guess there's no place to go but up.
Although Madonna's not been listed in the last three years, she is dubbed an "ageless wonder" by the mag and was listed at #87.
Maybe another onstage kiss can help boost these gals' sex-reps.
BTW, this year Pam Anderson (#75) was listed under Carrie Underwood, Mischa Barton, Christina Ricci, Liv Tyler, Katie Holmes and Ellen Page. So Ellen Page is sexier than Pam Anderson?
Ouch, now that's gotta sting.
