Who is Barack Obama's sexy blond Hollywood hottie?
Scarlett Johansson's heart belongs to Barack Obama.
According to Politico, the actress frequently e-mails the Democratic nominee, campaigns tirelessly on his behalf, hosts lucrative fundraisers and appeared in the "Yes We Can" viral video that got 10 million views its first week online.
The actress has been an Obama supporter for years, even before the first Democratic caucus in Iowa, and doesn't even try to hide her affection for the candidate. "I am engaged to Barack Obama," she said back in January, joking with reporters after a USO tour to the Persian Gulf. "My heart belongs to Barack."
Here's what Scarlett has to say about her ideal president:
On Obama's youthful supporters. "His support goes across all of America, not just with celebrity endorsements. Trying to find McCain's youthful core group is going to be challenging. One of the driving forces behind the Obama campaign is that all of these young people who never had a reason to vote before finally got the fire under their ass."
On talking with Obama: "The most time I spent with him was the first time I met him, at a private event for supporters. After that, it's been a few minutes here, a few minutes there on the trail."
On their ongoing e-mail correponance: "You'd imagine that someone like the senator who is constantly traveling and constantly 'on' -- how can he return these personal e-mails? But he does, and in his off-time I know he also calls people who have donated the minimum to thank them. Nobody sees it, nobody talks about it, but it's incredible. I feel like I'm supporting someone, and having a personal dialogue with them, and it's amazing."
On her involvement in his campaign: "I approach my campaigning for Obama the same way I do my work for other social or environmental causes: I'm hoping to raise awareness. I'm not telling people who to vote for, and I don't expect that if I did it would swing votes. At least, I hope not. What I want to do is raise awareness of Obama and his policies and share my own story of how I became involved in his campaign. Perhaps, if they're a fan, my story might entice them to learn or spark their interest some other way. If I can answer questions or direct people to a website where they can get more information, that's how I can help."

But I warn you. Andy's a little bitter about the whole thing. And in my opinion, he''s being a bit harsh, saying that "Obama bowls like a Martian." I say this because I do bowl like a Martian. Obama's no Martian.

Dear American Voters,
Hon. Senator McCain and Obama, besides each having many attributes and characteristics. The critical differences between the two of these presidential presumptive nominees are as under:
1. Presidential "Temperament and Composer".
2. Little Washington "insider Versus outsider" experience.
3. "Vision and mission" for our nation future rather than past.
4. American policies, " first U.S.A Centric" than any other country [ ies ] centric.
In my professional opinion Senator Obama leads in all above qualities.
The need of our next movement and generation is a change. The Change in " past Washington and its Leadership". A change we can believe in and not the seductive, deceptive, and confusing slogan of "leader we can believe in" [? Effexor ?".
Our Greatgrand Nation has to address many present and future challenges and start with new clean "Slate and Senator".

I'm assuming you have never heard of Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel...do you think it bothered the citizens of Israel that their prime minister's last name means "blessed" in Arabic?

Our country would be much better off if all these shallow actors like Scarlett Johannson would just butt-out of politics and instead strive to stop making all those trashy Hollywood movies.

I was wondering how long it would take before somebody tried to cobble up the equivalent of the infamous "call me" attack ad used to torpedo Harold Ford, Jr.'s 2006 Senate run in Tennessee. Sorry, it's not gonna work this time.
I thought the Harold Ford 'Call Me' subtle appeal to racism was supposed to run in October. Liz obviously didn't get the RNC memo.
