Weigh in! Who wore it better, Liv Tyler or Stella McCartney?
OK, it's time to weigh in on Liv Tyler's devilish blue dress worn at last night's premiere of "The Hulk."
We've found out that the gown was actually first worn -- long -- by Liv's pal, designer Stella McCartney, to the Costume Institute Gala at the Met last month. Liv saw it, loved it, but asked Stella's people to cut the elegant long gown short for her L.A. premiere.
Unfortunately, without the weight of the fabric, the shortened satin hem -- which nicely showed off Liv's long, lean legs -- got all clingy and managed to hike up, unflatteringly emphasizing her tummy and few other things. Where was Liv's Spanx?????

Liv needs a stylist or even an honest relative with good taste. Lean legs do not necessarily mean pretty legs. Or perhaps the heel on her shoe was too high, warping the shape of her calf. In any case, a very lovely girl looking wrong, wrong, wrong. Simple and classic are best, as was demonstrated quite nicely that evening by Julie Benz.
