Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell make up (for now)

Isn't it wonderful how fashion can bring friends back together?

Naomi Campbell once mused publicly about why Victoria Beckham was dubbed "Posh," sparking the Spice Girl's response calling the former supermodel  "a massive cow" and worse, and adding, "I'm the only one with the guts to say it."

But the two fashionable frenemies seemed to kiss and make nice at the Council of Fashion Designer of America awards Monday night.

Victoria in Marc Jacobs and Naomi in vintage YSL ended the longtime feud in a very fashionable way by embracing for the photographers, along with Jacobs and Andre Leon Talley, who wore a swami hat and a large coat apparently made of some exotic skin, possibly the soft pink underbelly of a giant endangered anaconda.

The two wicked wenches have reportedly not been photographed together since the 2003 Costume Institute Benefit Dance party, when they were seen holding hands.

Is their public reconciliation a pity move, since Naomi was charged last week with several serious offences related to an incident at London's Heathrow airport, where she was arrested and removed from an L.A.-bound flight?

Something about a lost bag that caused Campbell to use obscenities and assault two bobbies.

Bet Posh can totally relate to the absolute horrors of lost luggage.
