Heather Locklear seeks help for depression. Is it 'Complicated'?
Heather Locklear is seeking treatment for psychological issues at an Arizona facility, her publicist has confirmed to People.
"Heather has been dealing with anxiety and depression. She requested an in-depth evaluation of her medication and entered into a medical facility for proper diagnosis and treatment," Locklear's rep, Cece Yorke, told the mag. "This is a confidential medical matter and no further statement will be released."
Heather, who is divorced from her rocker husband, Richie Sambora, had begun dating Jack Wagner, her former "Melrose Place" costar. Didn't they make a cute couple?
Frankly, I think poor Heather probably watched too many episodes of her husband-stealing former BFF Denise Richards' reality TV show, "It's Complicated."
Like maybe one. Which is enough to plunge anyone of us into the void.
Our condolences go out to Heather. Take your time and get the help you need.
Depression is scary but, thankfully, treatable.
However, there is no known cure for "It's Complicated."

A friend works where Heather is seeking help for her depression, and she reports that Heather is "severely depressed"....I hope she comes out fine she is such a beautiful woman.
And men are such bastards!!!!
Why is it that society has the term Son of a *****?
But no term for a woman as in daughter of Bastard? You make me what you want men to be.
Heather, you're a total babe and Denise Richards has nothing on you. I wish you the best and a quick recovery.
I have had severe depression for almost seven years. I, too, live and work in Hollywood, but am not a star. So I cannot afford to go away for therapy. I went to a medical doctor. He would not prescribe anti-depressents , but wanted to "sell" me high-blood pressure medicine. A Beverly Hills therapist would not work with me until I completed 90 days of recovery meetings. Life in Hollywood goes on.
Best to you. While in AZ try Sotto Pelle they are in Scottsdale. It's a natural hormone balancing treatment.
has the author watched denise richard's show? she's a real person. not perfect. but real, with a very nice family and friends. she's not a monster.
you don't have to dislike denise to an equal degree you like heather. this isn't high school.
they're both real, nice people, and even nice people have problems. life isn't perfect, and neither is heather nor denise.
This is inane: a woman of such beauty and professional stature "depressed"? We should all be so lucky. No sympathy here. Sorry.
To suggest that Locklear's depression can be laid at the door of Richards is ignorant. Depression is a serious and misunderstood mental illness, and while it can be triggered by outside events, it is wrong to say those events "caused" it.
My best wishes to Ms. Locklear as she embarks on her road to recovery and embraces life. It's infinitely preferable to the other option. I'm confident that Ms. Locklear's sense of humor will get her past the tough spots.
Who really cares. It's stupid hollywood people anyway.
The author of this article is clearly not well educated in any domain whether it be emotional intelligence or depression. Depression treatment fails in 85% of cases or do you not read the reputable journals? I bet you don't even read medical journals. You should consider a psych evaluation for yourself based on your "interpretation" and ironic "display" of emotion in the matter. Just my opinion, of course.
