Beth Ditto doesn't want to look like Britney Spears
Gossip singer Beth Ditto does a spot-on impersonation of a disco ball at the Glamour Women of the Year Awards in London.
The outspoken singer in one of the most popular bands in Britain calls herself a "fat, feminist lesbian from Arkansas."
She's also talked about her weight: "I just like food too much, and I don't want to change. I spent so much of childhood trying to change, and I just got sick of it. ... I don't want to look like Britney Spears. I just don't want to. She's hideous."
Let's give Ditto props for having a sense of humor and an adventurous fashion spirit. What's your vote?

I love The Gossip, their 'Standing In The Way Of Control' album is fantastic. But why does everyone always feel the need to bring Britney up? And maybe Britney is skinny compared to Beth, but Britney now compared to Britney 5 years ago? Let's be honest, she could be using a much better example of someone who looks 'disgusting' in a too skinny way. The comment just doesn't make sense.
She is really a shining example of how anyone would look if they gave in to gluttony.
Britney might have a bigger career and more money, but that's because of idiots like you who buy her 'music', not any talent she might posess somewhere in her narcissistic little frame.
Beth ditto is a goddess in comparison, talentwise.
Nobody, no matter what size, should be using the word 'hideous' whilst wearing that dress.
