Happy Mother's Day, y'all: Britney Spears allowed more time with her boys

Britney_spears_jpgTell us, Magic 8 Ball: Will Britney Spears get to tuck her babies in bed at night and spend time with them on Mother's Day?

Signs point to yes!

The singer's visitation rights to sons Sean Preston and Jayden James were expanded Tuesday after a custody hearing with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

According to Usmagazine.com, there was no change in custody. Federline's attorney Mark Vincent Kaplan merely said that her time with the boys will be "more than it has been."

But according to TMZ.com, Spears will get three days supervised visitation a week and visitation on Mother's Day.

Kaplan said the court was "pleased with the progress that seems to be occurring" with Spears daily. He called the court's ruling "a step in the right direction," adding "the children are doing great -- that's the key."

"That's what all of this is about," Kaplan said.

The next progress hearing is set for July 15. After today's hearing, Britney was spotted smiling and leaving with her parents.

Asked if her client was happy about the  outcome, Spears attorney Stacy Philips gave a smile and a thumbs-up sign. Parents Lynne and Jamie Spears were smiling and talking to each other. As Federline left the courtroom, he smiled but did not say anything.

Federline has had primary custody of the boys since January, when Spears, 26, was involuntarily hospitalized after she refused to turn over one of the boys to Federline's bodyguard.

As Britney's stability has improved -- thanks to the co-conservatorship of her father -- she's been granted regular visits with her sons.

For the love of GOD, was'nt there a time in Hollywoods history when celebraties put thier BEST face on before going out iin public, going in front of a judge and she still looks like she's dreaaed to water the planters outside of her trailer? Nothing has changed.

She desperately needs to go on "What not to Wear" Maybe Stacey can convince her that woman with Lordosis need to cover up a bit more, because if you don't you run the risk of someone mistaking you for a midget from the side.

Britney has made great strides in the last few months and I hope she sticks with it. Parenthood is never easy and all she needs is to be guided in the right direction. Keep up the good work Britney. Once you step into Parent hood, you are now realizing that most freedoms you thought you had as a teen are gone .Be smart in how you handle things. Set small goals for yourself. Once you get partial custody back remember anything you do effects the kids as well. Your living for three, remember that always.

Jay,

Thank you for your in depth analysis.

Omg! Get rid of those flabby arms Britney! Go get Slim 30. You live in LA don't you?! http://www.encure.com/storepage/Slim30.htm

"She desperately needs to go on "What not to Wear"

hahahahahhaa youre a joke

The y'all thing is getting a bit old,you dipshiz. She left Louisiana a long time ago so you need to face up to it; she is a product of Hollywood.

You guys are all idiots.

Um, LA TIMES, this is NOT a picture of Britney yesterday at court. If you are going to use a stock picture, you should at least mention it. I'm sure those with the "what not to wear" comments would appreciate it. It's funny how I found this out on a celebrity blog. I wonder if this is why they are laying so many people off over there?

From sexiest girl on the planet to Humpty Dumpty in the course of 5 years. That has to be some kind of record.

I'd also like to know how she can grow all of that (fake) hair back after shaving her head 6 months ago.

Not only does she needto go on 'what not to wear', but she also needs anew stylist and a stint on 'the biggest loser' too.
