Nick Nolte vs. Harrison Ford: Who's winning the Wrinkle War?
Nick Nolte showed up at Cannes this week for the premiere of Clint Eastwood's new film, "Changeling," starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich.
It's good to see this fine actor - who back in 1981, according to IMDb.com, turned down the role that went to Harrison Ford in "Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark" - out on a red carpet.
But, wow! Check out the difference between Nolte, born February 1941 and Ford, born July 1942, also at Cannes for the premiere of Steven Spielberg's new "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."
Even taking into account these guys' lifestyles, diet and a possible liberal use of suncreen, there's a huuuuge difference between the faces of these two actors, ages 67 and 65.
You don't think someone had a little "freshening up," do ya?
And does Nick ever regret not wearing the felt hat in Spielberg's adventure flick?
Wouldn't you?

Ford may have had a little "touching up" (or maybe not), but the real reason here is that Nick Nolte, a great actor, has sadly ravaged himself with drink and drugs his whole life and Ford has always taken care of himself.
Lifestyle, genetics, environment all have much to do with what our faces show. At twenty-five we all have the faces we were born with, more or less. At fifty we have the faces we have earned, with or without touch ups.
nolte is primed to play santa clause.
