Kirsten Dunst says, please, she was depressed, not drunk
Kirsten Dunst has had it with all the rumors about her going to rehab for drug or alcohol addiction.
She wants you people to know she was depressed.
"I was struggling, and I had the opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself," Dunst told E! Online. "I was fortunate to have the resources to do it. My friends and family thought it was a good idea too."
That's why she went to Cirque Lodge, the same posh rehab where Lindsay Lohan and Eva Mendes sought treatment for their issues.
"Now that I'm feeling stronger, I was prepared to say something ... . Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about," Dunst said.
Well, yes. But then neither should drug or alcohol problems.
Congrats for taking care of yourself, Kiki. Keep up the good work.

Depression has many causes. The young, beautiful, and rich are not exempt. My suggestion to the previous commentator is that you be a little generous. We're all just flawed human beings trying to do our best. No one outside of her immediate circle knows the pressures to which this young woman is subject. Give her a break. You have no idea what her life is like; don't make assumptions. We all just do our best.
You must be the dumbest, materialistic idiot to walk the face of the earth to honestly believe the money, fame, way of life has anything to do with happiness! How ignorant are you and your family to raise you to believe that depression is something you choose!?
