Madonna swigs bubbly with abandon while Lindsay Lohan's mug is used for anti in-car breathalizer ads

Wow. Guess it's not "one day at a time" for everybody.

Madonna proved she can still chug-a-lug the bubbly like a rock star! She slugged back some major Moet & Chandon during her Wednesday night concert in New York.

Is that how Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccione from Detroit got those amazing biceps? From doing champagne curls?

That's exactly the same "workout" that got poor Lindsay Lohan in trouble at the 2007 Capri Film Festival, resulting in a tizzy of news about LiLo calling her sponsor and getting back on the wagon.

As if the ridicule that comes with public recovery isn't bad enough, now LiLo's DUI mugshot has appeared in USA Today in an American Beverage Institute ad against the mandatory use of ignition interlocks, also known as in-car breathalizers. And, hoo boy, is her lawyer fuming.

Apparently, the ad said the locks were great for Lindsay but not for normal people who just like to drink at their weddings. Other celebrities' photos may be used in future ads, says the Bev Institute.

Somehow we don't think Madonna will end up in a similarly unintentional controversy any time soon. Madonna controversies are normally part of her master plan to sell more records.
